The comments in both posts are flooded with admirers, thanking both women for the workout inspiration.

“She’s putting us ALL to shame! Thanks for the motivation, gonna go hit the gym,” reads one comment.

“Gam is the bomb. She just letting you know what you have to keep doing when you reach her level of glow!” one person wrote.

“If she can do it so can I,” another wrote, adding the hashtag #50andover.

Pinkett Smith has praised her mom, as well as her mom’s impressive fitness, many times before. In 2014, she shared a photo of Banfield-Jones, then 61 years old, taken by Willow Smith.

Jada Pinkett Smith has not always been so candid, but on her popular Facebook Watch series, Red Table Talk, three generations of women in Pinkett Smith’s family share frank conversations about a variety of difficult topics including addiction, relationship issues, and even struggles with hair loss.

The new batch of episodes, which premiered Monday afternoon, are off to a spicy start as well. Pinkett Smith and special guest, her husband, Will Smith, both opened up about the story of how they met, and Pinkett Smith admitted that she never saw a wedding with him in her future. “I was so upset that I had to have a wedding. I was so pissed. I went crying down the freakin’ aisle getting married,” she said, revealing that, at the time, she felt pressured to marry Smith because she was pregnant with their son, Jaden Smith.

At a Red Table Talk event in New York on Monday, Pinkett Smith and her mother, Adrienne Banfield-Jones, discussed filming the show and living in the spotlight, which requires different types of self-care for each member of their family. Pinkett Smith likes to meditate, and Banfield-Jones likes to read and listen to audiobooks, but one thing that all three generations of the family can agree on is their love for working out.

In September, the actress shared on Instagram a picture of herself along with her mother and her daughter, Willow Smith—all three generations of the family—flexing together in the gym. She later shared a video of an at-home exercise routine, captioning the post with, “THIS!!! Whooped my a#@!!! Try it! It’s a GREAT routine and u don’t need a gym!”

When asked about the video and how her entire family keeps themselves in shape, Pinkett Smith revealed that the woman in the video was actually not her, but a trainer and health coach named Jeanette Jenkins. “Everybody thought it was me, and I was like, Damn, I wish I had that much hair! I put that up because I had done that exercise and I was like, This is hard-core and you don’t need a gym,” she said. “I don’t train with Jeanette, but she’s a trainer, and I’m always online looking for dope workouts,” she continued.

“ lives in Maryland, but when we’re in town, all three of us work out together,” Pinkett Smith said. “Willow makes sure. She’s like, ‘We gotta wait for Gammy!’”

At 64 years old, Banfield-Jones—or “Gammy,” as she is affectionately called by her grandchildren, Willow and Jaden—is in remarkably good shape, and is sharing that love of working out with her granddaughter. “Willow started working out with us this year, and she is really, extremely passionate about it. Jada had to write down her workouts for her before she left,” Banfield-Jones said, before telling a table of journalists that her daughter “knew how to change diet to give her exactly what she needs.”

Pinkett Smith herself may not need a trainer, but she does double as a bit of a coach for her daughter in the gym. “I started at age, and I’ve been doing it ever since,” Pinkett Smith revealed. “We go hard. Because I’ve had so many different types of bodies, so I know I don’t need a trainer, and I know how to train her for what she wants,” she continued. “I know exactly what she needed to get, where she wanted to go.”

The Smiths are proof that the family that works out together really does stay together.

Jada Pinkett Smith Trusts This YouTube Trainer’s Free Workout to Sculpt Her Killer Abs

In honor of the New Year, Jada Pinkett Smith is letting some of her fans in on how she maintains such a toned figure.

The 47-year-old actress, who hosts Red Table Talk with her mother, Adrienne Banfield-Jones, 65, and daughter with husband Will Smith, 18-year-old Willow, shared on Facebook Watch that she often relies on fitness bloggers to stay in shape.

Introducing some of the at-home workouts, the mom of two began, “Taking care of your body in the way in which you want is an act of self-love … Self-love is discipline.”

She then joined YouTuber Whitney Simmons. “Whenever I need tips on how to work out specific parts of my body, I go to Whitney Simmons’ YouTube page,” Pinkett Smith says, adding that the influencer makes taking on the gym and lifting weights super simple.

Simmons then shows the three generations of women a few moves that are easy to do at home.

The first is a bicep curl into a shoulder press. Take a light weight, around 5 lbs., and hold it in your fists with palms out. Then curl it up, rotate palms out again, and lift the weights up while keeping hands close to the ears. Reverse the motion on the way down. Try three sets of 10 repetitions each, and be sure to tighten the core the whole time.

Simmons also recommends some high-intensity interval training, or H.I.I.T., for quick cardio. The point is to push hard for 30 seconds and rest for 30 seconds for 5 minutes straight. One possible workout to try during your H.I.I.T. session is a step-up using a step or another object that can hold your weight.

And last, Simmons talked about ab circuits— a series of several exercises done consecutively without resting. One of the movements she demonstrated (with the help of an exhausted Willow) was a core-crunch and hold. To do it, lie on your back but crunch up so the shoulder blades are off the ground. To also target the obliques, alternately reach for the heels while maintaining the crunch position.

Because many of Simmons’ workouts required equipment, Pinkett Smith also collaborated with Instagrammer Brittne Babe, who built her following by creating routines for people who want to workout without spending money.

Babe taught the women how to plank for 30 seconds — the key is to hold the body level, not too high or too low — and the correct squatting posture. Feet should be shoulder-width apart, toes slightly pointed out, and when you bend the knees, not to let them extend past the toes. For a more advanced version, try pulsing as you switch between a basic squat and wide squat. Do this for 3 to 4 sets of 10 reps.

Last, Babe tired out her hosts with 10 burpees, which require you to jump, squat down, extend out legs into a plank, pull legs back into a squat and then repeat the motion.

“That three generational thing,” she captioned the shot. In it, the three ladies were nearly matching in sports bras and black leggings, while baring their fit midriffs.

And back in August, Smith posted a video of Banfield-Jones breaking a sweat during a gym workout.

The 47-year-old mom of two shared a bikini photo to Instagram during a European vacation. She captioned the snap: “I’LL take that joyful hot girl summer thank you🌞✨”

In the photo, Jada is lounging on a boat in a teeny green bikini with a big smile across her sun-dappled face. She’s got a lot to smile about. Her abs, for one, look straight-up ridiculous. And her ripped arms aren’t too shabby either.

Jada’s also glowing from head to knee. That’s where she cropped the photo, but I’m almost 100-percent certain her toes are getting their glow on, too.

And while she may have good genes to thank for her all-over muscle tone (Jada’s MOM has a six pack), clearly Jada’s workouts are working. So what does her routine look like? Jada relies on routines and tips from Whitney Simmons’ Youtube page, MSN reported. She does a mix of strength training, abs circuits, and bursts of cardio.

She also told BET that she does cardio for 20 minutes every day. “Everybody’s thinking you gotta be in the gym for an hour and a half. Literally, I’m never in the gym longer than 45 minutes,” she said. “Just be consistent—that’s it! It doesn’t necessarily have to be intense, and you will see a difference. Just go out of your house and do a brisk walk!”

So, there you have it, folks: Hot Girl Summer defined and Jada’s reasonable recipe for crazy-toned abs.

Will Smith is being candid about his feelings regarding wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s relationship with Tupac Shakur.

The actress and “Red Table Talk” host befriended the rapper when the pair were students at The Baltimore School for the Arts, and they were extremely close.

Pinkett Smith mourned her friend deeply when he was shot and killed in 1996 at the age of 25.

During a recent interview with Martin Lawrence on New York radio’s “The Breakfast Club” to promote their new film “Bad Boys for Life,” Smith was asked if he was “ever jealous of the love Jada had for Tupac.”

“Oh, f**k yeah,” said Smith who has been married to Pinkett Smith since 1997. “That was in the early days. That was a big regret for me, too, because I could never open up to interact with Pac.”

Smith said Pinkett Smith and Shakur grew up together and, while their relationship was never sexual, “they had come into the age where now that was a possibility and Jada was with me.”

“Pac had a little thing with that, but she just loved him,” Smith said. “He was the image of perfection, but she was with the Fresh Prince.”

Smith said despite being in the same room together several times, neither he nor his fellow rapper could bring themselves to speak to each other.

“The Breakfast Club” co-host Charlamagne tha God expressed surprise at that as he said he thought Smith and Shakur would have so much in common.

Jada Pinkett Smith isn’t afraid of sharing intimate details of her personal life with her family members.

The 47-year-old actress revealed on her Facebook Watch show, “Red Table Talk,” on Thursday that she had a threesome when she was “very young.”

She responded to a question asked by a viewer and then read by her 18-year-old daughter, Willow. “I had a threesome once. I was very, very young. Like early 20s,” she admitted.

“I didn’t like it. It just didn’t have the level of intimacy . But I tried it once and I was like, ‘Well, that’s not for me,’” the “Girls Trip” star added.

Pinkett Smith continued: “But I always think if I was in love with two people, that’s another level. I could see and join a threesome then, but I was a kid. I saw two cute people and I was like, ‘Hey.’”

Her mother, Adrienne Banfield Norris, who is a co-host on the show replied, “ a sexual experiment.”

The episode features the three women meeting and talking with a “throuple” — two women and a man who are all in a romantic relationship.

Pinkett Smith has a lot to celebrate lately. The entertainer won the Trailblazer Award at the 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards on Monday night. She said in her speech, “Often we applaud the trails that people blaze in the external world that we can see, but very rarely do we applaud the trails that are blazed in the hidden rooms of the mind, that are full of uncertainty, false beliefs, and pain.”

“It’s these eternal obstacles that must be challenged in order to muster the courage to forge new paths that we can see in the world,” she added. “Every last person in this room must do that at some capacity.”

“That means that every single person in this room is trailblazing, whether it’s within or without,” the wife of Will Smith. “So as you honor me tonight, I wanna honor all of you and I wanna say here’s to us for all of our trailblazing!”

New episodes of “Red Table Talk” drop Mondays on Facebook Watch.
