Dermedicine Vitamin C 6000 w/ Retinol

I think this cost my sister a cute $20 on Gilt because she literally mentioned it, asked if I would want to try it, and threw it on her order while on the phone with me. Needless to say, its performance is reflexive of the price. I’ve never felt an ickier consistency on a serum – and we know they aren’t always pleasurable to touch and/or apply. It has a sticky, gritty, oil-slip feel whose penetrance is questionable, for the most part it just sits on my skin. After a microderm or peel I can feel a slight tingle but otherwise there’s no sensation or change to my appearance. As a familiar retin A user, and with what this serum purports to do, I was looking forward to speeding up the evening up of my tone & brightening this spot on the side of my face where I have pigmentation from a burn scar I got in an accident. It did nothing remarkable in addition to the peeling I was already seeing there from my retin A. I already have baby soft and plump skin, so I can’t say it did that. Oh, and it smells!!!! A waste. Don’t bother.
