Dwayne Johhson and Under Armour just released a new collection centered around his Under Armour Project Rock 1 training silhouette.
Dubbed the All Day Hustle Collection, the Project Rock 1 is presented in two colorways of black and white. The black colorway represents night hustle and the white represents day hustle, a nod to Dwayne’s never-ending get-after it attitude that inspires millions every day.
The Under Armour Project Rock 1 is a versatile shoe, designed to handle a quick 30 minute cardio session, a full hour of high-intensity interval-training, a hardcore 90+ minute strength training session, and everything in between. Highlights of the UA Project Rock 1 include a knitted upper, Micro G cushioning, a TPU heel puck, knobbed outsole, wide toe box, and durable stitching.
Alongside the new Project Rock 1 colorway drop is the “All Day Hustle” apparel collection that represents Dwayne’s relentless intent to put in work. A wide swath of men’s and women’s gear works together to enable any athlete to push themselves past their limit, break it all down and rebuild themselves better and stronger.
The entire Under Armour Project Rock All Day Hustle Collection is available now at select retailers, at UA brand houses nationwide, and on UA.com. The shoes retail for $120 each.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson always does things big. So, naturally, we’ve been expecting huge things from his partnership with Under Armour, a combination of the “hardest-working man in show business” and the new juggernaut in American fitness apparel.
On Thursday, they delivered. Johnson and Under Armour have partnered to create Project Rock, a “motivational lifestyle brand” designed for the athlete who plays hard and works hard. It’s kicking off with what the Rock calls the “#GBOAT: The greatest bag of all time.”
“Project Rock recognizes that we are all a work in progress, consistently trying to get better and working harder toward our goals,” Johnson said. “Understanding the grit, grind, and sacrifice, I wanted to find a way where I can embark on a journey with others, to inspire them to constantly chase their greatness no matter the intensity.”
Project Rock kicks off with two all-purpose utility bags—the Range Duffle and the Regiment Backpack—but it will eventually expand to other apparel, Johnson confirmed via Twitter.
Yezzir it’s all coming, but first we started with the limited edition bags. #ProjectRock @UnderArmour https://t.co/iXshfvAbOp
— Dwayne Johnson (@TheRock) March 3, 2016
Measuring 19″ x 11″ x 7.5″, the Regiment (below right) is designed to easily shift gears between the office or school (hence the laptop sleeve) and the gym (hence the hidden pockets for stuff you’d rather keep discreet). The larger Range (23″ x 11″ x 11″) has space for all your gear, with a designated laptop sleeve and a separate compartment for easy access to shoes—plus a set of backpack straps for easy carrying.
Both are cut from Under Armour’s sweat-and-scrape-resistant Storm fabric— it’s “tough as hell (like myself),” as Johnson says.
The Range Backpack ($99) and Regiment Duffle ($124) are both available . Check out more at undrarmr.co/ProjectRock.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson may be known for his tough persona, but under the muscle, sweat, and ink is a charitable guy. Johnson’s newest Project Rock shoe and apparel collection is unapologetically patriotic, and gives back to veterans, too—and the drop’s timing, just before Veteran’s Day, serves to highlight the cause.
The Project Rock release is in collaboration with UA Freedom, an initiative by Under Armour to support the physical and mental wellbeing of former and current military members and first responders. Under Armour says the collection will help support the Fisher House Foundation, a nonprofit that provides free housing near military and VA medical centers for families while their loved one is in the hospital, but didn’t share exact details about the efforts when asked for clarification.
The Project Rock x UA Freedom collection will feature a brand new red, white and blue colorway of the PR2 training shoe. With a navy blue upper, a white sole, and eye-catching red laces, the shoe’s design gives a subtle nod to its military inspiration. The breathable shoe design, which was first released in June, was created to provide a “zero gravity feel” and flexible performance.

This type of release is nothing new for Project Rock. The actor’s debut PR1 training shoe also honored U.S. service members with a similar blue, white, and red colorway. That shoe was released in 2018 on Memorial Day, and Johnson celebrated the release by donating gym equipment to Joint Base Pearl Harbor.

In addition to the new patriotic PR2, the charitable Project Rock apparel collection will also feature hoodies, sweatpants, and shirts in a similar color scheme. All of the pieces feature The Rock’s famous Brahma Bull logo, a staple of any Project Rock launch.

Project Rock was first launched in March 2016, later expanding to athletic apparel and shoes. Prior this this latest launch, the PR2 trainers were available in three colorways.
The Project Rock’s products benefitting UA Freedom are available now on UA.com and in U.S. Under Armour stores. The shoes and apparel will also be sold through DICK’S Sporting Goods retail channels.

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has unveiled his latest collection of kickass new Under Armour gym gear.
This new Project Rock collection, called “Chase Greatness,” is the first installment of a yearlong storytelling arc called “Build the Belief.” It also marks the first time Seven Bucks Creative, the agency created by Johnson and his business partner Dany Garcia, has contributed to a UA x Project Rock collection.
“We all want some change in our lives, maybe even greatness,” Johnson tells Men’s Fitness. “But it’s not easy. Sometimes we don’t think we’re good enough or sometimes life deals us a tough hand. But that’s exactly why we grind. In the toughest moments in my life, I’ve stuck by a simple truth: when your back is up against the wall, the only way out, is to put the work in. Because when you put in the work, rep by rep, day by day, you build something in yourself. You build the belief that you can do more.
“That’s what our Project Rock collaboration with Under Armour is all about,” Johnson says. “We’re not just giving people the tools to chase their greatness, we’re creating a movement of people who are willing to put in the work.”
The stars of the new collection are the “Threadborne Vanish” lineup, which are made from fast-drying and flexible fabric that can stand up to the toughest workouts, as well as three new colorways of the UA Project Rock Delta training shoes.
We got a chance to get an advance look at the new gear. Now, courtesy of Johnson, Seven Bucks, and Under Armour, you can, too. Check out the gallery to get a first look.

Shop the Iron Will collection before products sell out.More
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is well-known for his rigorous fitness routine. So, it makes sense the athlete-turned-actor’s latest project is a joint venture with Under Armour to launch his latest line of Project Rock sneakers, apparel, and accessories, aptly titled the “Iron Will” collection.
The collection dropped Thursday, and the 47-year-old says the name was inspired by his personal gym, The Iron Paradise, and the motivation one gets when they test their limits during an intense workout.
“Each Project Rock collection represents much more than trying to deliver the best training gear possible for the consumers,” Johnson explained. “It’s me sharing my life and what pushes and drives me daily. Iron Will takes time. No one gets it on the first effort – that’s not how it works. But over time, experience, pain and gains, that Iron Will is sharpened in all of us. So I walk in, turn the music up, chalk up, shut up, and get to work.”
The line consists on leggings, shirts, shoes and even headphones. Whether you take workouts as seriously as The Rock or using this as a way to jump-start a healthier lifestyle, read on to see what we picked as some of the best looks from the appropriately-priced collection.

The CEO of Dick’s explains how Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has helped his company turn the corner with Under Armour

- Dick’s Sporting Goods CEO Ed Stack credited Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson with helping to shape up his company’s Under Armour sales.
- In 2018, Stack expressed concerns that Under Armour’s “expanded distribution” strategy was hurting sales of the athletic apparel at his sporting goods retailer.
- Under Armour first partnered with Johnson in 2015 and has unrolled Project Rock products in the years since.
- In a recent interview with Business Insider, Stack said that Dick’s has seen Under Armour sales recover since it amped up a “big presence” around The Rock in stores.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is famous for saving the day in action flicks like “San Andreas,” “Skyscraper,” and “The Scorpion King.” But beyond the world of Hollywood blockbusters, Johnson’s Project Rock apparel collaboration with Under Armour can also be credited with helping to rescue the partnership between the Baltimore-based clothing retailer and Dick’s Sporting Goods.
In a recent interview with Business Insider, Dick’s CEO Ed Stack said that Project Rock was responsible for boosting sales and setting the partnership between the brands back on “solid” ground.”
Read more: The CEO of Dick’s Sporting Goods lost about $250 million after taking a stand on gun control. He told us how the blowback led to a new retail model that’s outperformed expectations.
Things became shaky between the two companies early last year, as Dick’s saw lagging Under Armour sales in its stores. In March 2018, Stack told Wall Street analysts that “significant weakness” on Under Armour’s part hurt Dick’s overall performance. Specifically, the Dick’s CEO called out Under Armour’s “expanded distribution” strategy, which saw the Baltimore-based clothing company partnering with other retailers like Kohl’s.
Speaking with Business Insider about his book “It’s How We Play the Game” on October 7, Stack said that Dick’s has “re-engineered what we’re going to do with Under Armour.”
“The Under Armour business was down for probably five quarters in a row after they made the changes in their distribution strategy,” Stack told Business Insider.
But since then, Stack said, the partnership has gotten back into shape. Specifically, Under Armour’s brand collaboration with the Rock has stabilized the partnership.
“We made a big presence on Under Armour around The Rock — Dwayne Johnson — which has been great,” Stack said. Hollis Johnson / Business Insider
“We made a big presence on Under Armour around The Rock — Dwayne Johnson — which has been great,” Stack said. “It has really helped re-energize the Under Armour brand in our stores. We’re on pretty solid footing with Under Armour now.”
Johnson’s own partnership with Under Armour dates back to 2015, when he signed a “long-term” contract to team up on an apparel and footwear brand. Like Stack, Johnson has voiced his own concerns about Under Armour in the past. However, the actor’s qualms were political in nature. He was one of the celebrities to criticize the company’s CEO Kevin Plank for praising US President Donald Trump as a “pro-business president” back in 2017.
Today, the Project Rock brand features products like shoes, t-shirts, athletic pants, leggings, and socks.
Johnson isn’t the only star whom Dick’s has hitched its wagon to. The sporting goods retailer also partnered with singer Carrie Underwood for its private-label Calia brand, which features women’s fitness apparel.
“The private brand business continues to be something that we’re very aggressive on,” Stack said.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is a generous man, but there’s one place that he’s selfish and guarded: his Iron Paradise. The actor’s gym has become a legendary place (or rather, places, since he has a few locations outfitted to his standards) where he logs workouts, shoots videos, and anchors himself during his most hectic days—but it is very much closed to the public.
Now, Johnson is ready to share at least a small part of the Iron Paradise with his fans. No, he’s not giving out personalized 2.5 pound weight plates (although that would be pretty cool). The latest Under Armour Project Rock collection, Iron Will, is inspired by the Iron Paradise and all of the hard work Johnson logs to push himself into top-tier action hero shape.
Under Armour UA Project Rock 2 Under Armour $140.00
The Iron Will collection offers Iron Paradise branded gear and expands on the Project Rock women’s line with pitchwoman Lindsey Vonn. There are also youth sizes for the first time, with two young athletes, 8-year-old viral football speedster Dashaun “Flash” Morris and 11-year-old boxing prodigy Johaunna “Jojo” Martinez repping the brand. The PR2 training shoe, which dropped earlier this year, will be available in two new white and black colorways, along with the new women’s and kids’ sizes.
Johnson marked the release of the new collection as only he can, with a sweat-drenched, muscle-straining workout in his gym. He posted the video of the upper body session to Instagram with a clear directive to his followers hoping to emulate his work ethic and success: “Show up, chalk up, shut up and get to work,” he wrote in the caption. “It’s what we do.”
