There’s a whole chapter in the book about her diet that offers a surprisingly candid amount of detail. By and large, she eats an organic, local, whole foods, plant-based diet that’s filled with raw or steamed vegetables, fruits, legumes, and whole grains. She’s tried to be vegetarian twice and twice been subsequently diagnosed with iron deficiency; now, she consumes sustainably sourced meat or seafood a few times a month.

I decided to adopt her entire morning routine (why not go all the way, right?). Like Gisele, I started my day by oil pulling and meditating (the former of which I’ve dabbled with on and off over the years; the latter of which I do without fail for 20 minutes every single day). The first thing Gisele consumes daily is a glass of warm lemon water, which she follows with a green juice made of “celery, cucumbers, half a red or green apple, turmeric, ginger, lemon juice, and occasionally kale or beets.”

I don’t own a juicer, so I blended mine (if you don’t have a Vitamix, I don’t recommend doing this—even with my Vitamix, I had to chop the celery fairly finely to get it to blend!). I typically start every day with a smoothie, although I love Gisele’s inclusion of anti-inflammatory turmeric and ginger (inflammation and anxiety are closely linked). My one problem? I pack my smoothies with healthy fats and proteins so they act as more of a meal. While this one was bright and zesty, a wonderful morning pick-me-up, it left me shaky with crashing blood sugar in the middle of my 10 a.m. meeting. The next day, I added avocado, which helped a bit, and the day after that, I blended in some chia seeds, hulled hemp hearts, and flaxseeds (the base of the heartier smoothie Gisele drinks before workouts) for protein. The result was much thicker and satisfying enough to be a breakfast I was excited about drinking for the remaining week and a half.

Gisele’s lunch “typically consists of a salad, with seed crackers and avocado, or a bowl of soup containing chickpeas and many different vegetables.” I made a big batch of soup on Sunday, using sautéed onions and veggie stock as an umami flavor base, then tossed in a can of chickpeas and whatever veggies I had in my fridge. The result was satisfying, and warming it up on the stove at my office became a soothing ritual, a little break of nourishment and comfort in my day that replaced my frantic charge around the neighborhood, in search of a quick lunch to purchase.

Gisele rarely eats dairy, which was easy for me—I’ve long avoided cow’s milk and eat pastured cheese only occasionally, which, luckily, is Gisele-approved. “I think it’s difficult to deprive yourself of something you love,” she writes, “and I happen to love cheese. I just eat it sparingly.”

Gisele is also a member of a CSA, or community-supported agriculture, which means, essentially, buying shares in a farm, a practice that helps farmers and allows city-dwellers to have seasonal, farm-fresh food delivered to them weekly. I’ve been thinking about joining a CSA for years and finally took the plunge, choosing one called Local Roots that works with small farms around New York City. When I picked up my haul at the designated spot a few blocks from my apartment, I was glad I did—the beautiful fall produce inspired me to cook far more than anything I’ve seen at the grocery store. “The truth is that locally grown produce just tastes better, because it’s fresher,” Gisele writes, and I agree—because it’s so easy to access all food at all times of the year, we forget how delicious eating with the seasons can be. I used the squashes and turnips from my haul to create a stir-fry for dinner, which I served with a salad featuring the gorgeous salad greens that had come with my pickup.

Gisele’s favorite snack is hummus, so I made a batch with one of my CSA butternut squashes. For the past few weeks, I’d been reaching for some cookies or chocolate, which I always had at my desk (advantage/disadvantage of being a food editor). The hummus, though, which I served, like Gisele, with cutup vegetables, kept my blood sugar balanced throughout the afternoon, giving me sustainable energy to finish my workday. This is especially important for people who suffer from anxiety—according to mbg Collective member and holistic psychiatrist Ellen Vora, M.D., “One very common and preventable cause of stress response is low blood sugar.” She recommends “cutting out (or down on) sugar and refined carbohydrates, eating plenty of healthy fats and protein, and stick to safe starches like sweet potatoes and plantains”—fairly similar to the Gisele-inspired one I was following.

Luckily, Gisele and I happen to share a sweet tooth (I know, we’re basically the same person), and she doesn’t consider dessert off-limits. One Saturday afternoon, when I was craving cookies, I whipped up her favorite dessert—a blend of avocado, banana, and raw cacao. I added some pepitas on top for crunch and mixed in cinnamon and cayenne to mask the avocado and create more of a Mexican hot chocolate vibe. The result? A rich chocolate mousse that quelled my craving but (I’m sensing a theme here) kept my blood sugar stable. It also took a total of two minutes to make—far faster than any less healthy dessert.

Highest paid model of the world and the first billionaire of modeling industry, Gisele Bundchen is a legendary Brazilian model. Aspiring to become an athlete in her childhood, the gorgeous model had never ever imagined her as a model.

Having set a benchmark in the modeling industry, she is one of Victoria’s Secret angels. Tall and gorgeous Gisele not only has a fab body, but also has immense vibrant energy and an electrifying attitude. Credited with the sexiest legs in the industry, Gisele didn’t get her perfectly toned legs and curved figure in two days from some magic spell. Her persistent dedication and sacrifice actually talks volume behind it.

Who would believe, the wife of England famous Football player, Tom Brady, is mum of two kids!!

Gisele Bundchen – Mum of Two Kids

The highest paid model gave birth to her son, Benjamin in 2010 and a daughter, Vivian in 2012, and within couple of months of their births; she was in the same sculpted figure.

She executed workouts even two weeks before her kids were born. The relentless model practiced Kung fu and never left yoga, which she practiced three days in a week.

She always kept an eye on her diet even in her pregnancies and seldom filled her stomach with anything and everything that came across her like most of the pregnant women do. It was all due to her prudent diet and dedication to workouts that she gained just 30 pounds in her pregnancies.

Gisele Bundchen Key Secrets

Owning to her skill of keeping balance in all the domains of life, Gisele never undermines the importance of proper sleep along-with workouts and diet.

Gisele follows three key principles in her life, which are –

  • Don’t deprive your body from something it desires. Eat, what you crave for, but keep a check on that and don’t do overeating.
  • Don’t expel carbs from your diet. Being the sole source of energy for your body, it’s very vital for your body.
  • Make workouts an indispensable part of your life, and make sure that your workouts justify your diet.

Gisele Bundchen Workout Routine

Highly dedicated towards her workouts, Gisele performs variety of exercises to maintain her trim figure. While she dedicates five days in a week to cadio-workouts, two days of her week are reserved for yoga. Without fail, she devotes one hour in a day to workouts. Anusara yoga, which is free-style yoga and is comparatively easier than other yoga postures, is her all-time favorite yoga.

Apart from making your body supple, yoga also brings all the organs of your body in perfect harmony with each other. It also provides great tranquility and stability to mind.

To add fun and exhilaration in her workouts, Gisele plays Brazilian body surfing and water polo water aerobics, which includes swimming and underwater running. And to enhance the resistance power and endurance of her body, she runs for 45 minutes in a day. Swimming being a great cardio workout is used by the celeb to render mobility to her joints.

Gisele Bundchen Post Workout Juice Break

She practices all her workouts in the supervision of personal trainers. While Tracy Anderson is her personal trainer for aerobics, Amy Lombardo gives her yoga instructions.

And under the guidance of Yao Li, Gisele practices Kung fu for three days in a week for 90 minutes. Apart from kicking and stretching, she loves punching in Kung fu, since it keeps her full of beans throughout the day.

Gisele Bundchen Diet Plan

Although Gisele doesn’t follow very strict diet regime, she loves to eat real meat. Besides being yummy, it’s very healthy as well. She prefers including raw foods in her diet and maintains distance from canned or preserved food.

While consuming 1600 calories in a day, the model takes a lot of coco juice and fresh fruits in her diet. She begins her day with breakfast, which includes toasted bread. Her lunch is generally comprised of two slices of skimmed chicken, one fruit, rice, lettuce, fruits, and chicken thighs. Her healthy snacks consist of cookies, skimmed cheese, one slice of Turkey, and fruits.

In dinner, she takes one fresh fruit, fish fillet, and salad having majority of tomatoes in it. She always keeps a gap of at least three hours between her dinner and her going to bed, which actually is a healthy routine, for it gives sufficient time to her body to digest all the food.

Did we miss anyone?

I am fortunate to answer the question, “how much does Gisele Bundchen weigh?” because this gives me a chance to show you a bunch of pictures of Gisele Bundchen.

Really, how great of a job is that? It’s early Sunday morning and I am going to be spending time with you talking about, and looking at, Gisele Bundchen.

If you think I am fortunate, consider Tom Brady. He is waking up on this Sunday morning right next to Gisele Bundchen. Imagine that! Waking up next to Gisele Bundchen…

Hmmm. Tom Brady has got to be one of the luckiest guys on the planet.

Since it is Sunday and a church going day for many, we might say that God has smiled on Tom Brady. If you have had any unlucky breaks in life, you need not worry. Your misery has been evened out on the other side by Tom Brady’s fortune: talent galore, GQ looks, and Gisele Bundchen. I hope Tom Brady goes to church today and thanks the man upstairs for everything…including the gal he is waking up next to right now–Gisele Bundchen.

We all have our problems though and as I am doing my pleasurable investigations of Gisele Bundchen this morning I am seeing that she is currently embroiled in a battle of her own right now over…breastfeeding.

New mother Gisele was quoted as saying that “breastfeeding should be mandatory for all moms”. Of course, this sent red-flags through the femi-nazi community and enraged those who think breast feeding is optional.

For men, it simply fueled their curiosity and sent them to the top ten search engines looking for things like Gisele Bundchen’s breasts.

But, as always, I get a little sidetracked. I am here to talk about weighty issues that you want answered like, “how much does Gisele Bundchen weigh?”

I have already answered the question How Much Should I Weigh For My Age And Height, a question many of you asked because you think that you are fat. Well, I can say with certainty, without any research, that Gisele Bundchen is not exceeding her weight for her age and height.

Let’s look at some pictures of Gisele Bundchen to make sure visually that she is not fat and to simply enjoy the act of looking at Gisele Bundchen because she is one great joy to behold.

How Much Does Gisele Bundchen Weigh

So, in looking at all of those pictures, can you tell how much Gisele Bundchen weighs?

Let me tell you some other important points before you come to a conclusion of this very important life question. Gisele stands at 5 feet 11 inches. This certainly will make her a little heavier than many women as she is much taller than the average. Her measurements vary but her stats come in at about 35-26.5-36. Truthfully, I don’t follow these numbers too much. I just look at a women and think…she’s hot! And Gisele is hot (but I still prefer the curvalicious Kim Kardashian to just about any woman on the planet).

So, let’s get to it. How much does Gisele weigh?

Your answer: Gisele Bundchen weighs 130 pounds give or take a few depending on whether she ate a salad or a fruit parfait for breakfast.

I’ll tell you one thing that Tom Brady would no doubt echo after spending this find Sunday morning with Gisele in bed:

Gisele Bundchen is the perfect weight!

Gisele Bündchen Diet and Workout Routine

Today we are taking a look at the Gisele Bündchen diet and workout routine! I don’t think Gisele needs any introduction, but just in case, I’ll do the honours.

Gisele is a Brazilian model and actress and has been one of the highest paid models on the planet since 2004. She’s walked in hundreds of catwalk shows, been on thousands of covers and in even more magazine editorials. Currently, she is the Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Environment Programme and works with other charities such as Red Cross and Save the Children.

Gisele and her whole family lead a healthy lifestyle and I was so interested to learn how she always looks so amazing!

Here’s what I found out 🙂

When she was younger and just started to get into modelling Gisele’s diet consisted of a lot of fast food, mocha Frappuccino and a lot of cigarettes.

But with time she realized that a good diet and regular workouts are the only way to go if you want to stay fit and healthy, especially in the modelling industry. So today, she is much more mindful about what she consumes.

Gisele, along with her husband and children has adopted a whole food, predominantely plant-based diet. This means that they stick with organic ingredients where possible, and consume fruit, vegetables that are either raw or lightly cooked, whole grains and legumes. They do have some meat or seafood from time to time.

Gisele loves to cook and she even has her own garden! So during spring and summer time, she has her own organic veggies – squash, zucchini, tomatoes, cucumbers, kale and arugula.

Her husband Tom is the all onboard with the healthy-eating regime which certainly helps. He’s even released his vegan protein powder made with pea protein.

According to Gisele and Tom’s former personal chef, Allen Campbell, 80% of what Gisele eats is vegetables.

This is what her typical meals look like.

Gisele’s day starts off with liquids. First thing she’ll have water with half a lemon and then either a green juice or a smoothie if she’s going to be working out.

Here’s what she puts in them.

Gisele Bündchen GREEGreen Juice Recipe

  • Celery
  • Cucumber
  • Apple
  • Turmeric
  • Ginger
  • Lemon

  • Berries
  • Cacao powder
  • Hemp seed

When it’s time for lunch, Gisele is often found eating either soup or a salad. If she has a salad, she’ll eat it with avocado and crackers. Her soup will have chickpeas and vegetables.

She also enjoys eating spring rolls with tahini dipping sauce. She makes them from:

  • Two slices of avocado
  • Two slices of apple
  • Cabbage
  • Carrots
  • Cucumber

Dinner in the Bündchen-Brady household consists of fresh vegetables with whole grains such as brown rice, quinoa, beans and millet. Sometimes they will have some salmon, grass-fed organic steak or duck.

Their family also loves to have sushi from time to time. And they use brown rice instead of white. Because they stick to a gluten-free diet, instead of having soy sauce, they will use ponzu sauce.

Like many of us, Gisele likes sweet things from time to time. But rather than reaching for store-bought ice cream or other sugary treats, she makes her own dairy and processed sugar-free ice cream. To make it, she uses raw cacao powder, bananas and avocado. She also adds fresh honey or dates to some meals for a sweet touch.

One of her family’s favourite snacks is to have hummus with vegetables such as celery, carrots and cucumbers.

Her family enjoys an almond and herb snack, which you can easily make yourself at home too. This is how you do it:

  • Soak raw almonds overnight and then peel the skin off
  • Cut some rosemary and garlic into small pieces and mix with the almonds
  • Add olive oil and sea salt
  • Bake in the oven for 20-30 minutes at 350 degrees

Gisele eats a mainly plant-based so she usually avoids meat and dairy. She also avoids all types of processed foods – white flour and white sugar especially and gluten.

She also doesn’t drink much coffee anymore. As I mentioned, she used to eat a lot of junk food which made her feel tired and sluggish. So she drank a lot of coffee to get an energy boost. But now that she has a much better diet and has a lot of energy, she doesn’t need to consume so much caffeine.

Even Gisele has a cheat day every now and then. Her family loves to indulge in raw chocolate chip cookies or raw granola. She also likes to snack on dark chocolate every day, even if it’s just a small bite.

Even though the Gisele Bündchen diet is packed with whole foods and vitamins, she does get a little helping hand from some supplements. She regularly takes Vitamin C, D and a B multivitamin.

Gisele believes that it’s good to give your digestive system a rest, since digesting can take up a lot of your body’s energy. Because of this, she’ll fast until lunchtime twice a week. This makes her feel incredibly energised.

Gisele recently released a book entitled ‘Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life’. In this book she shares some of her secrets about staying fit and keeping her awesome body looking the way it does.

She mentions in the book that she exercises for sanity and clarity, as well as to get a great body. This is definitely important for everyone – exercise is good for your overall health and certainly your mental health.

Gisele works out every morning and gives each workout 100% dedication. Rather than wanting to be the best, she focuses more on giving her best. She doesn’t freak out if she happens to miss a workout, and she doesn’t think of exercise as something she has to do. But when she does do it, she’s completely present and focuses on the intensity.

Gisele looks absolutely fantastic and if you want to look like her, you finally can! I’ve created a 5-day video course which will help you achieve that model like body. All 5 workout videos are completely free and you can download them below 🙂

Gisele likes to do a mix of physical activity including surfing, skiing, yoga, martial arts and kickboxing. Being outside in nature is good for her mind, body, and spirit, so she’ll do that whenever she can.

She particularly enjoys hatha yoga after trying various forms of yoga over the years. After experiencing panic attacks in her 20s, she feels that yoga gave her back her life and believes it’s a powerful spiritual practice.

When she’s at home in Boston, she’ll sometimes go to her husband’s gym and use resistance bands. Or you can find her doing dance or Pilates classes.

Gisele practices clean eating like no one else I’ve written before, not even Kim Kardashian or Alexis Ren! And it definitely pays off when you look at that gorgeous face and body. I ‘m a huge fan of clean eating and Gisele is proof of what a healthy lifestyle can do for you.

I hope you’ve got some inspiration from reading about the Gisele Bündchen diet. Maybe you’ll try some of her snacks or meal ideas. I think I’m going to go try that almond snack right now – sounds delicious!

Thanks for reading!

Gisele Bündchen’s Ultimate Stress-Relieving Workout

There are tons of things you can do to relieve stress in a healthy way, but working out is definitely one of the best. (Proof: These 13 mental health benefits of exercise.) Supermodel Gisele Bündchen knows that too, and while we were well aware of her serious yoga game, she’s been a little more sneaky about showing off her devotion to another workout: Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). The Brazilian beauty and Under Armour ambassador recently let us in on her secret, posting a video on Instagram of what can only be described as her kicking serious ass-and her trainer is on the receiving end of it.

Sure, it’s all in the name of a fun sweat sesh-by the end of the video they’re both cracking up-but after seeing those moves, one thing is pretty clear: We won’t be getting in her way.

In her caption, Gisele touts MMA as one of the most fun ways to relieve stress, and that much seems obvious-after all, who wouldn’t feel better after beating the sh*t out of something after a stressful day of deadlines? (Though there are even more reasons why you should give MMA a shot.) And it’s obvious that you’ll net a pretty decent cardio session while you’re at it, not to mention work on improving your coordination and balance, flexibility, and overall power and strength. (Not enough? Here are more benefits of an MMA workout.) Add all of that to the perks you get from exercise in general, like a science-proven mind-clearing effect, and you’ve got a winning one-two punch. (See what we did there?)

But if it seems like MMA might be a little too hardcore for your taste, boxing (another model and celeb favorite) is always an option. You’ll still get to feel like a badass, able to tone the same muscles, and get in a stress-reducing sweat session. “When you hit the bag, you release stress-reducing hormones that can make you feel calm and relieved,” sports psychologist Gloria Petruzzelli, Ph.D., told SHAPE earlier this year. No matter what workout you choose, it’s a good idea (as long as you are healthy) to exercise and blow off some steam if you’re feeling angry, stressed, or sad.

Gisele Bündchen made a name for herself as the fashion industry’s “it girl,” and has put in a lot of work over the years to maintain her physique.

In chapter seven of her new book, “Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life,” the 38-year-old detailed the steps she takes to stay fit (and even enjoy exercising).

“Some people exercise to get a great body. I exercise for sanity and clarity, too,” Bündchen wrote.

The model integrates several different fitness methods, from yoga and kickboxing to surfing and skiing.

She exercises with a positive mindset

Bündchen works out every morning and approaches it “with 100% of my focus and dedication.”

“My approach has less to do with wanting to be the best and more with wanting to give my best,” Bündchen wrote, noting that her goals are “presence, dedication, and intensity,” no matter what the workout may be.

To maximize her efforts, Bündchen added that she doesn’t “ever want exercise to feel like an obligation.” If she misses a day or two, she doesn’t “freak out about it.”

Yoga is one of her go-to options

Bündchen started meditating and doing yoga after experiencing panic attacks for several months in her 20s. She has tried different types of yoga over the years, but hatha yoga (“the practice of physical postures”) is her favorite.

“It’s so serene that I can be in a state of meditation while practicing,” Bündchen said. “Plus a gentle practice works best for me since I do everything else in my life with intensity.”

The model added that yoga helps her “remain present.” Even when Bündchen is on the go, she makes time to do sun salutations or hip-openers.

“Yoga can be helpful in so many ways,” she said. “Whether it involves music or mantras or breath work or meditation, it is a powerful and beautiful spiritual practice. Yoga gave me back my life.”

Bündchen enjoys exercising outside when possible

She’s particularly fond of being outdoors in Costa Rica and likes riding horses. “I can be fully integrated and present in nature while also doing good things for my body, brain, and spirit,” Bündchen said.

She also adds skiing and surfing, when the weather permits. Bündchen concludes surf sessions “with a few sun salutations” to stretch her muscles. If she’s on a ski trip with husband Tom Brady, she’ll work out with bands after hitting the slopes.

When Bündchen is in Boston, she’ll go to Brady’s gym

Bündchen will stop by TB12 twice a week and use resistance bands. She also does Pilates or dance classes with her sister, Fafi.

She’s a fan of martial arts and practiced kung fu for almost seven years

Bündchen listed Bruce Lee as one of the people she admires because “he had remarkable focus, dedication, and body awareness.” In her book, the model explained that she did kung fu “five days a week for almost seven years,” even when she was pregnant with daughter Vivian and son Benjamin.

Tom Brady is arguably one of the best quarterbacks to ever play professional football, and at 42 years old, his consistency and stamina continue to amaze fans. His work ethic is admirable, and he confessed that his wife is even more pumped up than he is in the gym. Ahead of the opening of Tom’s new gym, TB12 Performance & Recovery Center, in Boston, the six-time Super Bowl champion sat down to talk about his and Gisele Bündchen’s workout regimens, and he praised his wife’s strength.

“She’s an incredibly hard worker in the gym,” Tom told People. “She’s got so much energy. She needs to work out, because she wouldn’t be able to sit still. She trains hard, and when we’re in there together sometimes she goes harder than me.” Tom explained that his workouts on the football field are where he activates beast mode and gets intense, “more than the gym.” But for Gisele, “she’s pretty intense. She gets after it,” he said.

We believe it! The supermodel and mom of three has been open about her healthy lifestyle, most notably in her 2018 memoir, Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life. Both Tom and Gisele stick to a mostly plant-based diet with lots of vegetables, whole grains, and organic ingredients. As for her gym time, well, Tom definitely wasn’t exaggerating. Gisele’s boxing workouts look intense, and she also loves to surf. She shared her affinity for yoga in her book. “Yoga can be helpful in so many ways,” Gisele wrote. “Whether it involves music or mantras or breath work or meditation, it is a powerful and beautiful spiritual practice. Yoga gave me my life back.” We’d love to hit the gym with these two.
