Four times a week, as soon as she finishes on the set of her CBS sitcom, The Big Bang Theory, Kaley Cuoco jumps in her car and heads out to a stable to ride her horse, Falcon. “When I’m riding, I don’t think about work, relationships, or anything stressful; I’m just in the moment,” says Kaley, 22. “It’s the perfect combination of a mental and physical workout. After an hour, I’m exhausted. I work muscles I don’t use otherwise: My legs, butt, core everything is sore.” This California girl has a few other tricks for staying fit and focused, no jodhpurs necessary.
BALANCE YOUR WORKOUT ROUTINES
“In addition to riding, I’ve always exercised at the gym. But a while ago, I was starting to get bored with my routine, so I tried spinning and fell in love with it instantly. I go to class three times a week, without fail. I always get there early so I can sit in the front of the studio, and I’m ready to go as soon as the instructor comes in. Doing something I really enjoy has made a huge difference in my motivation level.” (Here are 15 times Kaley looked flawless in workout clothes.)
SAVOR THE LITTLE THINGS
“Diet cola is my absolute favorite drink in the world; I used to drink four cans a day. But to help me cut down, I’ve turned it into a treat. Now, instead of having dessert, I’ll have a can of diet soda. Putting a limit on how often I can drink it has helped me appreciate it more.”
JUST SAY YES TO HEALTHY FOODS – EVEN TAKEOUT
“I’m a good eater and like to make my own meals. I start my day with granola, fresh fruit, and skim milk and end it with something healthy that also comes from my own kitchen. But right now I can’t get enough of the 6-inch vegetarian whole-wheat sandwich from Subway. I pick one up after my Spin class and pile jalapenos and onions on it to spice it up. It’s my default meal; I know exactly how many calories are in it 260 and I never have to think about what to order. Lunch: done!”

Kaley Cuoco is one of Hollywood’s most recognized actresses — appearing in shows like Charmed and The Big Bang Theory. She is known for her love of the outdoors (being an avid horse rider) and for her love of all things fitness. Although being in tip-top shape requires certain levels of physical activity, what you put in your body also plays an important role. Something that our beloved actress knows very well.

In an interview for Women’s Health, the actress admitted that she doesn’t eat meat. However, she is a big fan of fish, which she includes in her meal planning. A diet rich in fish protein can help you shed pounds, while also stimulating your intellectual development, memory and learning skills. Eating fish also strengthens your defenses and adds to the overall health of your heart and bones.

What does Kaley’s day-to-day meal plan look like?
First up is breakfast. Kaley sometimes starts off her day with toast with some delicious peanut butter spread on top. For lunch, she will eat half a sandwich, while for dinner, she will help herself to some fresh fish and veggies. She also takes into account mid-day snacks and will munch on an apple if she gets hungry. Something that she avoids? Candy. The actress has stayed away from sweet treats since 2015. She also shared with Us Weekly that she no longer eats chip and cereals or drinks soda.

Kaley isn’t all business and no fun, she allows for the occasional indulgence. “I must have one day of truce. I know that when I behaved all week, when Sunday arrives I lay down by the pool, have a drink and eat pizza,” she confessed.
Zero meats, lots of fish and yummy veggies—with the occasional indulgence every now and then—sound like the perfect meal plan to us!

Kaley Cuoco’s workout and diet has had a sudden surge of requests.
I guess it’s hard to not want that killer physique.
Cuoco, star of The Big Bang Theory, The Wedding Ringer, and more, shows off an amazing physique, and stunning abs.
We’ll talk more later on her ab training obsession.
Thankfully, when you have that nice of a bod, people want to know HOW, which gives us a good handful of sources to share here.
Kaley Cuoco Stats:
Weight: (approximate) 129 lbs.
Age: 33 years old
Kaley Cuoco is actually right at the average height among women we’ve seen at SHJ.
At the taller side of the range, but 5’6 is generally the “sweet spot” average.
Normally the average height we see for women is around 5’4-5’6 with ladies such as Jennifer Aniston, Margot Robbie, Olivia Munn, Alicia Vikander, Sophia Bush, Tatiana Maslany, Evangeline Lilly, and a ton of others.
But then there is also that taller range, and among the tallest (even taller than the 5’7-5’8), are ladies like Gwendoline Christie, Gal Gadot, and a few others – with Phoebe Tonkin, Gabrielle Union, Brie Larson, Nina Dobrev, Daisy Ridley, and so many more coming in around that 5’7-5’8 range.
And, let’s not forget the shorter ladies of SHJ like Ariana Grande, Scarlett Johansson, Mila Kunis, Emilia Clarke, Lucy Hale, Julianne Hough and a good handful of others.
But, either way, don’t worry.

Kaley Cuoco Diet and Nutrition
Like I said earlier, there’s a ton of awesome information out there about Cuoco’s diet and routine.
And, I actually really like her take on fitness and health.
We’ll use a bunch of information from Cuoco’s interview with Women’s Health, and then I’ll take some snippets from other interviews and quotes as well.
Women’s Health shares this from Kaley:
“When I wake up, I have the same little bit of peanut butter on toast every morning,” she says. For lunch, she’ll grab half of a sandwich, and when it comes to dinner, Kaley says she’ll eat fish, such as salmon, and vegetables. As for the rest of the animal kingdom? “No more meat, I’m like, done,” she says. And like the rest of us, she also gets late-night cravings. When those hunger pangs hit, she curbs them with a healthy snack, like an apple and peanut butter.
This continues with some more awesome information that will clear things up a bit for you guys:
Another way she stays healthy and happy: Indulging her cravings from time to time. “Tonight I’ll be going to In-N-Out and doing one of their grilled cheeses, massive fries, and a shake,” she says. “That’d be a cheat for me.”
All splurges aside, Kaley isn’t afraid to admit that she has to work hard to stay fit. “Bottom line is, you know, I’m not 21 anymore,” she says. “It used to be so easy, I didn’t have to do as much. Now, it’s part of my day—working out is part of my day, eating right is part of my day.”
That’s what I like to hear: sustainability.
EOnline shares some more information, stating this about Cuoco and her tennis player husband, Ryan Sweeting’s diet:
“As I’ve gotten older, I’ve had to change my food intake,” the actress explains. “My husband, Ryan, eats so much. When we first got married, it was so much fun to eat like him. We got into this habit we called the bedtime snack. The drawers next to the bed were filled with candy. Eventually, I realized it was mindless eating. I was just doing it because he was doing it, and it was adding hundreds of calories I didn’t even think about. So I cut that out.”
She also talks more about her cheat day:
“I have to have a cheat day. I know when I’m being good all week long that come Sunday, I’m going to lie by the pool, have a drink, and eat some pizza. Then I wake up on Monday morning and I’m all ready to start the week again. I’m just going to be in a bad mood all the time if there’s no light at the end of the tunnel.”
We’ve seen a bunch of celebs opt for a full day break from tracking and restrictions.
It’s good to take a mental break, and also in turn for sustainability.
We see a lot of celebs opt for a sustainable approach like this.

Kaley Cuoco Workout Routine Research
Sticking to the same game plan, we’ll start again with Cuoco’s Women’s Health interview and then build from there.
Women’s Health shares:
Though the 31-year-old loves her CorePower Yoga classes, she admits that she doesn’t necessarily jump out of bed to do it every day. “Sometimes do I want to get up in the morning and do it?” she says. “No. But when I get out, I feel like a million bucks.” As for her other fave workouts? Kaley is super-passionate about horses. (That’s how she and pro equestrian boyfriend, Karl Cook, first bonded!). Horseback riding is way more physical than most people realize, she adds.
She also adds this:
“If I get a little bit bored, I’ll switch over to SoulCycle, which I love too. It’s all or nothing. I’m hot or cold. I’m not a gray area. So if I’m doing yoga, we’re doing it every day this week….Then I’m like, ‘Oh my god, I have to switch.’ Then I’m going crazy on SoulCycle….‘Okay, I have to switch.’”
While not always to this extreme, this IS something we see among celebs.
It’s always good to switch up your routine from time to time.
That being said, Cuoco has also said this in an interview:
“It took years for me to figure out what my body needs and that what works for my friends doesn’t necessarily work for me. Doing yoga five times a week has transformed my body. I love being toned and having muscle; it’s so sexy and beautiful. And I owe it 100 percent to yoga.”
Prior to finding yoga, Cuoco did try a handful of other training methods, though.
She shares this with Us Magazine:
“I tried spinning, I tried running, I tried Pilates. I realized I don’t like running. … I refuse to do it,” says the 33-year-old, who eventually “fell in love” with hot yoga. “I was like, ‘This is my thing!’ When I get out, I feel like a million bucks.”
And, as I mentioned above, Cuoco also is obsessed with training her abs.
Us Mag also shares this:
Cuoco also hits the gym three times a week with a personal trainer. “Kaley is most concerned with abs, arms and butt. So we’ll typically do sets that would involve three to six different exercises or circuits,” reveals her personal trainer, George C. King. “A sample circuit might be 10 reps of close-grip pushups, 30 seconds of planks, 20 seconds of mountain climbers and 15 reps of squat jumps. We’ll do this straight through with no stops for three rounds. She’ll rest for two minutes and then complete the three rounds one more time.”
So we definitely see a lot of yoga, with some mix of bodyweight training, abs, and every once in a while a swap to SoulCycle!

5+ days per week
Cuoco has mentioned being obsessed with yoga in many interviews, and also mentions doing it 5 days a week. I’m going to program you a routine that mimics the one mentioned that she does 3 days a week with a trainer, but that does not exclude the yoga and/or SoulCycle option of 5 days per week.
The first circuit is right from Cuoco’s trainer. You can choose to use this as your whole workout for the day, or instead of performing it three times, you can utilize the other sample circuits as well to switch it up a bit.

How Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting Scored This Bang-ing Body
She may be one of the highest-paid women on television, but The Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting is also one of the most down-to-earth. Case in point: What other celeb would admit to keeping entire drawers full of candy in her bedroom or that she has to buy jeans in three different sizes? Extreme punctuality-not to mention an endearing tendency to give TMI-is just another one of Kaley’s refreshing anti-Hollywood traits.
Another is the fact that she works hard for her body and isn’t afraid to admit it. You won’t hear “Oh, I just look like this naturally” from her. Asked how she got in the ridiculously toned shape you see on our cover, she confesses, “I’ve never worked so hard to look good for something in my entire career. But I didn’t starve or kill myself with exercise. I went slowly, and it paid off.” Get the scoop on everything Kaley learned along the way.

On the personal payoff: “It doesn’t sound like a lot, but I lost six pounds in the last three months. That’s a whole jeans size, and we all know how good that feels! I’m the type of girl who’s always had to buy jeans in three sizes because I never know what my body is going to do from one day to the next. Everything, from the inside out, has completely changed for me. And now, when I look into the mirror and see the positive changes, I don’t want to go back to what I was doing. Especially when my husband is like, ‘You look amazing!'”

The 32-year-old recently shared a series of videos from her one-arm workouts, but some critics could only focus on her outfit or, in their opinion, lack of it.
While many fans were suitably impressed with her persistence sans limb, the star also received a number of comments about her bra-less boobs.
“But you could wear a bra!” one wrote.
“Don’t be jealous. It’s not flattering,” Kaley replied.

“FYI because of my shoulder, I can only get certain bras over my head NOT THAT IT’S ANYONE’S BUSINESS,” she elaborated in a later post.
The star also shared some words of encouragement for her followers who might be struggling to stick with a fitness kick.
“Alright there you have it, no excuses,” she said. “Injured or not you can still have a badass workout. I’m absolutely dead and ready to eat something. That was frickin’ awesome.”
Kaley isn’t afraid to admit that she has to work hard to stay fit.
