Mila Kunis’s “Blank Swan” diet
For “Black Swan” she lost 20 pounds in 5 months. Fox Searchlight
Mila Kunis is very open about her strict “Black Swan” diet. She lost 20 pounds in 5 months and weighed 95 pounds at 5’4 so she looked like a ballerina. She said she didn’t starve herself but also didn’t do it in the healthiest way possible. She also has also made it very clear that she wouldn’t recommend this diet to anyone. She would only eat 1,200 calories a day and smoke a ton of cigarettes. She wouldn’t encourage anyone to do but since then has quit smoking.
In order to lose all the weight while simultaneously training to ‘fake’ being a ballerina she put in a lot of effort. She first subscribed to a food service that would deliver her healthy food. Then she trained for three months to learn to be a ‘fake’ ballerina as she told Howard Stern on his show. Other than that she also exercised 5 hours a day seven days a week. Sounds intense huh.

Mila Kunis’ workout
Her daily workout regime is with celebrity trainer Brian Abercrombie. She workouts out three times a week unless she has to prepare for a movie role then she increases it to five times per week. Her trainers uses a training system called P.A.S.E (Power, Agility, Strength and Endurance). He believes this is the best way to workout as the focus is on the entire body rather than one part. The workout comprises of six movements done in circuits for 40 minutes with no rest. These movements are walkover pushups, mountain climbers, TRX row, bootstrapper squats, stir the kettle and medicine ball slam.
During her pregnancy she continued to stay fit but with other exercise regimes such as yoga and pilates. She also loves the outdoors and goes jet skiing in the summer and snowboarding in the winter.
Now that you know the secret to Mila Kunis’ body that is literally #bodygoals. It is you turn to try and follow a balanced diet full of healthy fat, greens and workout regimes.
Losing weight like a star may seem like a dream come true. With a personal trainer, personal chef, personal dietitian and personal assistant at your side, who couldn’t shed 20 pounds in a few short weeks?
But a new interview with actress Mila Kunis in Harper’s Bazaar indicates that fast weight loss (in this case for a role) can sometimes result in fast weight gain — in all the wrong places.
Already lean, Kunis dropped 20 pounds in order to play Natalie Portman’s ballerina frenemy in “Black Swan.” At 95 pounds, Kunis says “I was muscles, like a little brick house, but skin and bones.”
Unfortunately, when she gained the weight back, Kunis says it ended up in completely different places.
“All the weight that left my chest went to my side hip, my stomach,” she told the magazine.
Andrea N. Giancoli, a registered dietitian and spokeswoman for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, says redistributed weight isn’t uncommon after drastic weight loss (and weight gain).
Trending stories, celebrity news and all the best of TODAY.
“What often happens with extreme weight loss and when you lose weight very quickly is that you lose muscle tissue,” she says. “Unfortunately, when we gain the weight back, it comes back as fat.”
And that fat tends to show up wherever you’re genetically predisposed to get it.
“Some people store fat in their bellies, others in their thighs or their breasts or their buttocks,” she says. “Wherever you typically store fat, you’re going to see it go back there.”
What’s more, fast weight loss usually affects your metabolism, slowing it down so your body will burn the calories it gets more efficiently.
“You turn down the fire of your body furnace,” she says. “But when you go back to eating normally again, that furnace is still turned down to low, therefore you gain weight more easily and you gain it as fat, unless you’re really diligent about not overeating and exercising.”
If you’re dieting, Giancoli advises you shoot for losing 1-2 pounds a week, which gives your body opportunity to adapt to the weight loss and minimizes the loss of lean tissue and muscle.
As for celebrities and their weight-related ups and downs, she says they’re often a perfect example of what not to do.
“Celebrities are great Petri dishes for us in a way,” she says. “They demonstrate what happens with extreme weight loss. We’ll hear that so-and-so lost 20 pounds in 20 days and we’ll see her all thin and gorgeous. Then a few months down the line, she’ll have gained all the weight back because she did it too rapidly. And we blame the celebs, not the ridiculous diets. But really, it all comes down to human physiology and biology. Your body doesn’t like it when you lose weight that fast.”

Mila Kunis is getting honest about how she achieved her dramatic weight loss for her role as a ballerina in Black Swan.
The 32-year-old actress appeared on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM show on Tuesday, when she talked about how she got the part of Lily in the critically acclaimed 2010 film. Kunis says she Skyped with director Darren Aronofsky prior to nabbing the role, who sought her out after seeing her in the comedy, Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Kunis had never had any previous experience in ballet, but trained for three months in order to “fake it.” Kunis acknowledges that she got “crazy thin,” as Stern puts it, weighing about 95 pounds.

“I had to look skinny in order to look like a ballerina,” she explains. “You fake it. So, the best way to fake it is to unfortunately look like it.”
Fox Searchlight Pictures
The Bad Moms star says she smoked cigarettes and went on a 1,200 calories a day diet to lose the weight.
“I never watched what I ate . It was one of those things, for the first time in my life, I got a food delivery service,” she recalls. “And I’ll tell you this — I’m not promoting this at all — but I used to be a smoker, and so I smoked a lot of cigarettes and I ate a limited amount of calories.”
Kunis says she has since quit smoking, and calls it the “best decision” she’s ever made in her life.
Though her struggle eventually paid off. Kunis was nominated for her work in the dark drama for Best Supporting Actress at the 2011 Golden Globes, but she says she felt no pressure during awards season. The actress recalls sneaking alcohol during the Oscars and happily taking shots.
“At this point I had a routine on my way to the awards show, like, ‘Shot of vodka in the car, woo hoo!'”
Kunis says getting acting accolades has never been important to her.
“I love what I do but I don’t need to win,” she explains. “Like, I just need to work.”

Kunis also opened up about how her relationship with husband Ashton Kutcher turned romantic after previously just being former That ’70s Show co-stars during her candid interview with Stern, admitting that the two were at first “friends with benefits.”
Build A Body Like Justin Timberlake – Friends With Benefits Workout
Justin Timberlake built up an incredible physique for his role in Friends With Benefits. In fact, I am willing to bet that come the movie’s release on Friday he is going to have one of the most talked-about physiques in Hollywood. It’s no wonder that people are dying to know the Justin Timberlake Workout.
Justin Timberlake added lean muscle to the right places
Well, Justin always had defined abs and toned arms but he really stepped it up to get ready for his shirtless scene in Friends With Benefits. Justin put on a respectable amount of muscle while maintaining a low body fat %. As I expected he only added about 8-10 lbs of muscle from his previous state. What made the 8-10 lbs look very impressive is what separates a good workout program from a typical workout program. Justin added the muscle to his upper chest, shoulders, back, and arms. As a result, he looks very masculine with broad shoulders, a slim waist, and proportionate arms and legs. This is the exact look that every guy interested in building muscle should shoot for. NOT the big butt, belly and rounded chest of the typical meathead. My good friend Rusty Moore has the top workout program geared toward training for the Hollywood Look.

Justin Timberlake’s Cardio Training and Diet
Justin really had to kick things into high gear to get in great condition for his shirtless scene in Friends With Benefits. He already had built up a good amount of muscle leading up to the filming of the movie. Now it was time to get that body fat % down into the single digits to reveal crazy muscle tone and six-pack abs. In order to accomplish this Justin cut out junk food and beer while simultaneously performing more cardio. This is the ultimate way to shed fat fast. Cardio has been bashed a lot lately because many of the experts feel it is unnecessary. Their argument is – ‘why not just eat less and not perform the cardio’. Well, the problem with that is that you can only reduce your calories so much until you feel very deprived. In addition, cardio can be performed for several hours per day without overtraining and it’s not uncommon to burn 600+ calories per hour from moderate cardio workouts. Note – I only recommend 45 minutes to 2 hours of cardio per day for a short period of time to get in killer shape.

Be warned –
If you perform cardio you must watch your diet! Putting in the work in the gym and then stuffing your face in the kitchen is a surefire way to put all that work to waste and probably gain some fat. Although usually this just isn’t the case. I feel that cardio makes it much easier to eat clean. When your putting in the work to exercise and burn calories you really don’t want to put all that hard work to waste by eating empty high-calorie foods such as pizza, chips, fries, cookies and typical high carb processed junk. In addition, exercise is one of the greatest appetite suppressants. This is something that very few people pay attention to. If you go into a workout slightly hungry that hunger will dissipate during the workout and even after.
–> Rusty Moore, author of understands the importance of cardio for getting lean and he worked it into his workout program for those that want to get super cut.
Justin Pumped up his Workouts with Basketball and Snowboarding
Justin played regular intense games of basketball and other sports to get his physique leaner and more athletic. One of the advantages that intense games of basketball, hockey, football, and soccer have versus regular steady-state cardio is the pacing. During sports games, there are periods of all outbursts (driving to the net for a layup), periods of moderate-intensity (jogging back into your zone) and short periods of rest/recovery (after any timeout).
The periods of high-intensity exercise boost up your bodies fat-burning hormones shuttling fat cells into your bloodstream to be burned for energy. For the rest of the game, you going to be in an optimal fat-burning state. If you watch your diet and keep the carbs low your body will be an efficient fat-burning machine. This is the same process that happens when you follow my Ultimate Fat Burning Workout
What about abs?
Many people fail to realize that the key to having great looking defined abs is having an ultra-low body fat percentage. Have you ever watched the show Survivor? Ever notice the survival six-packs that many of the contestants are sporting? Their abs entirely a result of having low body fat. Justin Timberlake, Brad Pitt, Ryan Reynolds, and Cam Gigandet all have very low body fat and that is why their abs look so spectacular. With that being said strengthening your abs is still very important. It’s like the cherry on top of the cake. So if you want magazine-worthy abs you need to build dense, deep and defined abdominals. The most effective way to build dense, deep and defined abs is to perform high tension intense gymnastics style abs workouts. Crunches and abs circuits on the mats do very little to tone your abs. Here are the most effective ways to train your abs:

Talking to SELF, Biel explained how the superstar couple stay on top of their fitness with some mum-dad workouts.
“I actually love mommy-daddy workouts, they’re the best. It doesn’t always happen, but it’s so nice to have a partner when you’re doing a workout. It’s something my husband and I really enjoy doing together—we both are workout enthusiasts. When we can, we make it happen.”
According to Biel, the Timberlakes partner workouts usually consist of either circuits or cardio.
“We’ll work with a trainer and just do different circuits and do different types of cardio training or sprinting, just different things depending on what we’re working on and goals we’re trying to hit at the time,” Biel says.
RELATED: Why You Should Be Sprinting
While the goal for the couple is to hit 20 minutes of exercise per day, Biel says that when they can, they’ll try to start the day off with some yoga too, for both mental clarity and physical health.
The routine goes a long way to explain why the photogenic couple are still in great shape, and maintain a happy relationship, as they head towards 40. According to scientists, working out with a partner or group reduces stress levels by 26 per cent.
We’re sure being married to Biel probably reduces stress even further, although it’s still to be proven by science.
Justin Timberlake may be starring alongside Mila Kunis in the upcoming rom-com Friends With Benefits, but that doesn’t mean he actually thinks the concept is a good idea. Both Timberlake and Kunis appeared on today’s Ellen Degeneres show and he was pretty adamant on why two friends can’t enter into a sexual relationship without eventually involving some emotion, saying:
Its a really good idea until it becomes a bad idea. It probably becomes a bad idea really fastI think that everybody could probably agree with us when we say, that if you’re going to be intimate with someone at some point somebodys going to feel something.
I couldn’t agree more with JT’s wise words. Even if both parties are in total agreement about the terms of the relationship at the beginning, it’s only a matter of time before someone starts to become emotionally invested. If you do choose to be friends with benefits, then it’s important to accept that this kind of relationship has an expiration date, and will probably end with someone getting hurt.
Do you think that entering into a friends with benefits deal is doomed from the start, or do you think it should be looked at on a case-to-case basis?
Mila Kunis “Black Swan” Weight Loss Diet Charushila Biswas Hyderabd040-395603080 July 4, 2018
Who can forget Mila Kunis’s amazing performance in the 2010 psychological thriller, Black Swan? And to portray a ballerina in the movie, she had to lose 20 pounds in 5 months. That’s a fair amount of weight to lose in the given time. But this big-eyed, Oscar-nominated star is a foodie and had never been on a weight loss diet before for a movie. She took it up as a challenge and did not fail. So, how did the Friends With Benefits star do it? Is it safe? Can you follow it to lose weight for an upcoming event? Read on to find out!
Mila Kunis Weight Loss Diet
Mila Kunis lost the weight the old-school way. She was on a 1200-calorie diet and trained for her part as a ballerina for 5 hours a day, 7 days a week. She also appointed a food delivery service to deliver her salads. She was on a low-carb, high-protein diet. She consumed lean protein like chicken breast, fish, lentils, and beans. And for carbs, she chose quinoa and brown rice. However, she also revealed that to get ready for her role in Black Swan quickly, she smoked – though that is something she doesn’t promote. Because not only is it dangerous for your health, but it is also an unhealthy way to lose weight. But we have a safe 1200 calorie diet plan, by the way. Click here to know all about it.
Mila Kunis Workout
Mila Kunis works out with celebrity trainer, Brian Abercrombie for 3-5 days a week, depending on whether she is shooting for a movie or not. Brian uses the P.A.S.E technique, which stands for Power, Agility, Strength, and Endurance. His training regimen consists of 40 minutes of six movements done in circuits. It helps target various parts of the body and tones and strengthens the body. Here’s a sample of what Mila Kunis’s workout looks like:
- Warm-up – 10 minutes
- Mountain climbers – 3 sets of 25 reps
- Stir the kettle – 3 sets of 25 reps
- TRX Row – 3 sets of 25 reps
- Walkover push-ups – 3 sets of 25 reps
- Medicine Ball Slam – 3 sets of 25 reps
- Bootstrapper Squats – 3 sets of 25 reps
- Cool down stretches – 5 minutes
Mila Kunis did Pilates and yoga when she was pregnant. She is active throughout the year – going for snowboarding in winters, and skiing in the summers. And who can ignore the fact that she is a mom of two kids? That must be one of the fitness secrets of Mila Kunis. But the question is, will following Mila Kunis’s weight loss secrets be safe for you? Find out next.
Is Mila Kunis Black Swan Diet Safe?
In one word, no.Firstly, not all body types are the same. Some tend to lose weight quickly, some don’t, and some find it really difficult to gain weight. Your current weight, medical history, lifestyle, and genes play a significant role. Mila Kunis worked with an expert trainer with a specific goal in mind. She went back to her normal weight after the shoot was over. But for most of us, if we are not guided by professionals, we can regain double the weight. Moreover, quick weight loss should never be your target. Aim for slow (and steady) weight loss and change your lifestyle – that way, you will not feel you are on a “diet” diet, and the results would be more effective. Healthy eating and healthy living will be a part of your life. But how can you do that? Here are a few tricks that’ll help.
Tricks To Get A Body Like Mila Kunis
Getting a body like Mila Kunis can become simple if you follow these steps:
- Toss Out The Junk Food
Err… sorry for saying this, but foods like potato chips, pizza, burger, fries, processed foods, and fried chicken are called junk for a reason. Weight loss is not only about how many calories you consume (or don’t consume), but also about the nutrition. Junk food may taste great and fit your calorie count for the day, but what you actually consume are trans fats that do nothing but increase your chances of heart disease, obesity, insulin resistance, and diabetes. Fitness enthusiasts and people in the show business avoid consuming junk food, except occasionally, without going overboard. That’s why they enjoy food without gaining weight.
- No More Packaged Beverages
Packaged beverages like fruit juices, vegetable juices, soda, diet soda, and energy drinks are a strict no-no if you want to lose weight and be healthy. These contain high amounts of sugar, preservatives, artificial colors, and flavoring agents, which will keep you from achieving your weight loss goals. So, ditch them, NOW!
- Eat Frequently
Eating every 2-3 hours keeps your metabolism active. And when your metabolism is active, you will burn the calories instead of storing them as fat. Eating frequently will also help keep your hunger pangs in control, thereby preventing you from overeating.
- Control The Portion Size
Controlling your portion size is one of the main aspects of leading a healthy lifestyle. Because you may eat healthily, but if you don’t eat in right amounts, your body will store the extra calories as fat. To know how to control your portions, give this post a read.
- Consume Veggies And Fruits
Veggies and fruits are loaded with good carbs, vitamins, and minerals. These act as antioxidants and help improve digestion and cleanse the colon. As a result, your body will start mobilizing the fat, and you will start to lose the extra flab that’s been bothering you so much.
- Enjoy Healthy Fats
Not all fats are bad. Healthy fats like nuts and seeds, avocado, fish oil, fish with skin, olive oil, flaxseed oil, and avocado oil are good for your heart and overall health. Consuming these will help reduce inflammation in your body. And when that happens, your body will start to function normally and start to lose the fat.
- Have A Piece Of Dark Chocolate
Mila Kunis loves a piece of dark chocolate once a day. And 70%-80% dark chocolate is, in fact, good for your health and recommended for those who are trying to lose weight. But make sure you eat only one piece a day.
- Work The Flab Out
Without working out, you will not be able to burn the flab. So, work out 3-5 days a week. Create a fun workout routine that will target your entire body. Do cardio, strength training, outdoor sports, agility training, and stretching to build a fit body, not just a lean frame.
Stress and worry keeping you up at night? Probably that’s why you are gaining the extra pounds. Sleeping helps the body and mind recover and rejuvenate. Not sleeping and brooding will not solve your problem; it will create more problems. So, just make a plan, create a to-do list, take a shower, spritz some essential oil on your pillow, dim the light, and get a good night’s sleep. Wake up, start fresh!
There you go! Developing a disciplined lifestyle takes time. But it will take you from ground zero to the stars. Mila Kunis leads a healthy lifestyle, and that’s why she looks fit and fabulous. What’s stopping you? Go ahead and change your life. Cheers!

We have no idea where to start on this subject because there is so much to say about this actress. Although today everything revolves around Mila Kunis’ height, weight, and other measurements, we will take some time to post her impressive CV, you are welcome Mila.
Actress Milena Markovna Kunis was born on August 14, 1983, in Chernivtsi, Ukraine. Mila is certainly far from home, but her parents decided that it was better for them to go to America with their two children because they saw no future for Mila and her brother. Imagine how scary it must be to suddenly find yourself in a foreign country.
Mila remembers that she completely blocked the second year. I have no recollection of that. I always talk to my mother and grandmother about it. That’s because I cried every day. I didn’t understand the culture. I didn’t understand people. I didn’t understand the language. The first sentence of my essay for entering university was: “Imagine being blind and deaf at the age of 7.
Despite all this, she quickly found an outlet for all the frustrations, as she was discovered by an officer after being enrolled in drama classes as an after-school activity. Before her 15th birthday, she won the role of Jackie Burkhart on the television series That ’70s Show, but her decisive role was in the 2008 romantic dramatic comedy, Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
Since then, it has been one good opportunity after another for the actress as she has landed some good concerts and won recognition and awards, including the Premio Marcello Mastroianni for best young actor or actress and nominations for the Golden Globe Award for best-supporting actress among others. Now let’s get to the heart of the matter and check her statistics, starting with Mila Kunis’ height.
Mila Kunis Height
Recently, we have paid a lot of attention to the little girls, today we are continuing in the same vein. Mila is one of those actresses who didn’t let her height prevent her from reaching the top of her career. Despite the fact that she is on the short side, the actress has managed to land a large number of leading roles in the industry.

Like all other celebrities, you can bet that there are people willing to challenge it at 5 feet 4 inches, well here’s what the actress has to say about it.
My friends call me Hobbit, I look smaller than I am. People will say, “You’re not 5 feet tall,” and I’ll say, “I know my height. I constantly win bets, hundreds of dollars. Well, if you have a few hundred dollars lying around, feel free to challenge her height in person.
Although we can’t help but notice her small size, we can’t help but notice the dazzling difference in height between her husband, Ashton Kutcher and her. While Mila stands 5 feet 4 inches away, Ashton is 6 feet 2. That’s a distance. Here are some celebrities who share Mila Kunis’ height Britney Spears, Tina Turner, and Victoria Beckham.
Mila Kunis’ Weight
It’s already obvious that the actress is in good shape… or is she? At 5’4 inches and 52 kilograms, the actress barely made it through the healthy threshing hold. She has often been known to have crossed this threshold in the underweight region and we have the example you need.
For her 2010 film, Black Swan, the already thin actress has lost a lot of weight. She has taken a radically unhealthy shortcut and we advise you not to do it at home. In an interview with the Howard Stern Show, Mila revealed that she smoked “a lot” of cigarettes, in addition to following a strict diet, in order to reduce her weight.
It certainly paid off, as the actress received a Golden Globe nomination for her performance, even if she didn’t win, it was the first time she received the attention of the awards season. Otherwise, she is currently in good health and physical condition.
Mila Kunis’ Eyes
For those of you who have never noticed, Mila Kunis’ eyes are two different colors, her left eye is brown and her right eye is green. The condition is commonly referred to as Iranian heterochromia and although it is generally hereditary, the actress was not born with it.

For a while, she was blind in one eye, so to correct the problem, she went under the knife and was implanted with a new lens. The result was eyes of different colors, but we think it’s a small price to pay for the view, especially when it’s beautiful.
Mila Kunis Body Measurements
In addition to Mila Kunis’ height and weight, we have her other measurements here for you. The actresses breasts measure 33 inches her waist is 25 inches and her hips are 33 inches, this puts her in the ‘banana-shaped’ body category.
Mila wears a size 7 American shoe, size 37-38 European shoes and a size 5 British shoe on her feet.

In the spirit of our previous 18 things about Israeli actresses we adore (Gal Gadot and Yael Grobglas), we are expanding the series to include all Jewish actresses. We’re expanding the series for two reasons: one, technicalllllllly they could be Israeli if they made aliyah, and two, we make up our own rules (and we really wanted to write about Mila Kunis).
Read on for 18 things you may not know about the one and only Mila Kunis, who rose to fame at age 14 on That ‘70s Show. She’s currently starring in A Bad Moms Christmas, which opens today, but from everything we’ve read, she definitely does not seem like a bad mom.
1. She and husband Ashton Kutcher literally lived out their movies about friends with benefits (she starred in Friends with Benefits with Justin Timberlake, he starred in No Strings Attached with Natalie Portman): They thought they could keep things “casual” and it would be totally fine. Clearly, they didn’t take to heart the lessons of their own films.
2. Funny enough, Natalie Portman, according to Mila, is “the one person in the world that both Ashton and I have kissed.” 😘😘
3. Mila and Natalie starred together in Black Swan, the 2010 psychological horror film where they both played ballerinas, but Mila said she is a terrible dancer: “I have two left feet. I have no rhythm.” After finishing the movie she told W Magazine, “I will never dance again. It was the hardest thing I’ve done.”
4. She has two kids with Ashton Kutcher: daughter Wyatt Isabelle,3, and son Dmitri Portwood,11 months. She speaks Russian to her children; she plans on raising them bilingual (and apparently Ashton is learning too!).

5. Before Ashton, she dated Macaulay Culkin (from “Home Alone”) for eight years and while you may have known this, I just learned this fact and I am shocked.
6. She’s accepted all types of holiday traditions: “My family’s big on any excuse to get the family together and get drunk. Whether it’s Easter, which we’ve now all accepted into our Jewish household, or Christmas, it doesn’t matter. It’s all family time, but having kids, we’re building up our own little versions of tradition.”
7. Mila also loves wine, telling Harper’s Bazaar, “My glass of wine and I are besties.” She gives her daughter wine for Shabbat. Mila is definitely a #COOLMOM #🍷
8. She believes in the power of a library card, telling ET Online, “We have a public library card everywhere we go. When it is really hot outside, we go to the library and read books.”

15. According to multiple sources, Mila has heterochromia (one brown eye and one blue eye, or one brown eye and one green eye?) but we think close-ups of her look like her eyes are the same color?! Please weigh in!! What is confirmed by Mila herself is that she was blind in one eye for many years and had surgery in 2010 to fix this.
16. Out of all the superheroes, Mila would like to play Batman. Sidenote: We would take Mila Kunis over Ben Affleck ANY DAY.

How Mila Kunis Got Fit for Friends with Benefits
Mila Kunis is sexy, sassy, smart and clearly devoted to her roles; she famously shed 20 pounds to play a prima ballerina in Black Swan. But just how did she get that bod prepped to bare it all in those-ahem-super steamy love scenes with Justin Timberlake in her new movie, Friends with Benefits?
Enter celebrity trainer Brian Abercrombie of BODY MAXX, who boasts a slew of professional athletes and high-profile stars on his fitness roster. He trained Gerard Butler to kick some major butt in 300, and I think I can speak for any woman how ah-may-zing he looked. There’s no doubt Abercrombie knows his stuff when it comes to all things fitness.
For the past year, Abercrombie has been working with Kunis on a training system called “P.A.S.E” (power, agility, strength and endurance). “The focus is rarely on a specific body part but on the body as a whole,” Abercrombie says. “The rest usually takes care of itself.”
For Friends with Benefits, Abercrombie increased Kunis’ workouts from three days per week to five, complete with well-balanced meals of low glycemic carbs, proteins and essential fats.
“There was a joke in the script about her having no butt. I was determined to make them re-write it,” he says. “I don’t know if they did, but her butt looked good.”
While I don’t personally have friends with benefits, I was totally pumped to learn how to benefit my own body with Abercrombie’s workout and even more excited to be able to share those secrets with you.
You’ll Need: A box/step or other raised surface, a TRX Suspension Trainer, a dumbbell, an olympic bar and a medicine ball.
How it Works: This workout combines strength and endurance, consisting of six movements done in a circuit for 40 minutes with no rest.

STEP 1: Walkover Pushups
How to do it: Start in a plank position with both hands on a box, step or other raised surface. Step off with one hand moving to the floor and one hand remaining on the box. Do a full pushup and then return to the first position and alternate to the other side. Complete six reps on each side.
Tip: If you’re a beginner, try these on your knees.
STEP 2: Mountain Climbers
How to do it: Start in a plank position and then pull one foot up and underneath you so that your knee is at chest level. Alternate foot position rapidly, as if running in place. Complete six reps on each side.
Tip: Keep your butt level and don’t bounce up and down.
STEP 3: TRX Row
How to do it: Grab the handles of your TRX (palms turned inwards) and walk down into an inverted prone position. With your back straight and ribcage up, pull your hands to your ribcage from the extended position. Complete six reps.
Tip: You can also lower a bar on a smith machine or a squat rack, climb underneath and do the same thing.
STEP 4: Bootstrapper Squats
How to do it: Take the handle of a dumbbell in both hands so that they are in an overlapping baseball bat grip. Straighten your arms and forward fold, keeping your legs straight. With both your arms and legs straight, set your elbows on your knees and maintain contact throughout the motion. As if dragging the weight, drop your butt toward your heels and bring the lagging weight up and under your chin. Still with us? That is one rep. Complete six reps.
Tip: Consult this video if you still need help.
STEP 5: Stir the Kettle
How to do it: Hold an olympic bar with both hands and place one end of the bar on the floor into a corner of a wall. Raise the other end of the bar up to chest level and lean into it slightly, still holding it with both hands. Make a big full circle, as if stirring a large kettle (hence the name). Complete six reps in each direction.
Tip: Use a towel so that you don’t damage the wall.
STEP 6: Medicine Ball Slam
How to do it: Hold a non-bouncing medicine ball with both hands over your head. With arms fully extended and feet hip-width apart, slam the ball into the floor. Drop as you go into a full deep and proper squat and catch the ball as it comes off the floor. Bring the ball back to the raised position. Complete six reps.
Tip: If you don’t have a medicine ball, a tough basketball or soccer ball will help you learn the movement. Make sure you slam the ball a few inches in front of your feet so the ball doesn’t rebound and hit you in the face.

Pretty and charming, Mila Kunis lives in the hearts of millions and trillions of her fans. The sassy actress who was nominated as “Sexiest Woman Alive” in 2012 is dream girl of several guys and is a matter of envy for girls. The girl with big and expressive eyes recently got blessed with her first child, daughter Wyatt Isabelle Kutcher in September 2014. The cute actress nurtures a very practical approach towards life and refers to looks and personality as secondary. Let’s have a sneak peek into the diet and workout routine of Mila Kunis which upholds her in great shape.
Strict Diet and Exercises
The cute celeb is a self-proclaimed foodie. She admits to be reliant on junk and processed foods to relish foods. However, for Oscar-nominated movie, Black Swan (2010), she too resorted to strict workout and diet routine. While consuming a restrained number of calories, she practiced workouts five days in a week. She shares that she followed extreme diet and workout routine for eight weeks and shed twenty pounds, which actually was the requirement of her role in the movie. However, before late, she snapped back to her old eating habits and looked curvier after packing up twenty-five pounds. Afterward, she once again imprisoned our eyes when she appeared in ripped and toned shape in the movie, Friends with Benefits (2011). The sultry actress has given myriad sexy and n*de scenes in the movie. She performed intense workouts under the guidance of renowned fitness expert, Brian Abercrombie.
Obesity is Not Insurmountable
Mila highly favors the requirement to being motivated from inside. She contends, no matter what weight you have, there are always ways available to overcome that. The hot babe fails to understand why some people keep whining about their weight because being overweight is not an insurmountable problem. All you need to do is switch to workouts and clean diet, and you are bound to witness the rewarding outcomes.
Balanced and Clean Diet
To prepare herself to look stunning in the movie, Friends with Benefits, Mila consumed a clean and balanced diet. Her diet was a blend of complex carbs, proteins, and essential fatty acids. She made a myriad swap of high carb foods with low carb foods. For example, she swapped sugary cereal with oatmeal porridge, corn flakes with muesli, biscuits with nuts, chocolate with dark chocolate and so on.
Workouts in Pregnancy
Mila seldom skipped workouts even when she was pregnant. She executed light workouts such as skipping, yoga, Pilates etc. to keep her fit. She acknowledges yoga as a perfect workout to be practiced by pregnant women. Women are likely to suffer from anxiety, mood swings, and many other problems in pregnancy but yoga takes care of all these issues and ensures both the physical and emotional health of mother-to-be. Aside from being very discreet herself, she was also being motivated to stay in enviable shape by her beau, Ashton Kutcher. He was there round the clock, making sure that Mila does not go off track and she performs regular exercises.
Diet in Pregnancy
Along with exercises, Ashton also made sure that Mila consumed only wholesome and nutrient dense foods in pregnancy. He kept a strict watch on her eating habits and made her consume nutritious foods in pregnancy. However, just like a doting partner, he also stocked her beloved foods such as pickles, ice-cream etc. in the secondary refrigerator, so Mila can have them whenever she craves for them.
Healthy Tips for Fans
Here are some healthy tips for mothers-to-be who don’t wish to lose their curvy figure even after becoming a mother.
åMost women tend to over-eat because they believe in the old myth that they have to eat for two. You might wonder to know that pregnant women need not eat more than extra 300 calories in a day, which they can get by eating, low-calorie chocolate, or banana and yogurt. Just stay focused to eat healthy and nutrient dense foods.
Never Make Unhealthy Choices
During pregnancy, you are likely to suffer from nausea, mood swings etc. which will influence your cravings and will prompt you to make unhealthy food choices. However, be resolved not to submit to those cravings because they will do nothing but make you feel sicker than you ever were.
Balanced Diet is the Key
A balanced diet is the key to fit and healthy body even in pregnancy. Ensure that the foods you eat have a perfect amalgam of complex carbs, proteins, and healthy fats. Don’t feel intrigued by fad diet plans promoting the consumption of low carb foods. You need to eat a sufficient amount of carbs because the baby in your womb requires carbohydrates to grow. Pick fiber and nutrient dense foods such as fruits, veggies, whole grains, nuts etc. to nourish your body. Preferably, eat green and leafy veggies.
Execute Simple Workouts
Apart from brisk walking, you can also do the simple workout. For example, stand straight with feet shoulder-width apart. Fold your arms as if you are holding your baby and twist towards your sides i.e. left and right. The workout might look simple but it works in an incredible way on your muscles and releases tension from your buttocks and spine. In addition to that, the workout also helps you put up with contractions at the time of giving birth to the baby.
Don’t be in a Hurry
If you embrace healthy eating habits and light workouts during workouts, you won’t face much difficulty in losing the post-baby weight. However, don’t expect to acquire your pre-pregnancy figure immediately after the birth of your baby. Give your body some time, you definitely won’t be disappointed.
Did we miss anyone?
She’s one of the most popular actresses in the world right now, with looks that garner the affections of men across the globe, and a charming and almost annoyingly lovable personality that endears her to girls and women alike, so it’s no wonder Mila Kunis would be someone whose diet and fitness regime would attract a certain amount of curiosity.
When she catapulted to super stardom a few years back with her role in the oscar-nominated Black Swan, she had wittled her already petite frame down to a mere 98lbs. She lost 20lbs in a matter of five months with a rigorous exercise routine consisting of 5 hours a day, 7 days a week, and a calorie intake of no more than 1200 calories. An extreme feat for any body, Mila who is a self proclaimed food junkie, (normally eating anything from chinese to cheesburgers) was more than happy to be done with the taxing role and put on a healthy 25lbs in the months following the movies wrap.
“I’m a huge foodie, I love food. But when people say, “I can’t lose weight”, no no no, you can. Your body can do everything and anything, you just have to want to do it.”
So apart from the extremity of her regime for her role in that particular movie, Mila normally works out about 3 times a week with a personal trainer. She ups that to 5 days a week when preparing for a role, like that of her one in “Friends with Benefits” where she and Justin Timberlake shared a lot of steamy skin baring scenes. She enlisted the help of celebrity trainer Brian Abercrombie, the man who whipped Gerard Butler into shape for his Adonis like role in the kick ass action movie 300. Apparently Abercrombie works his clients out with a system called P.A.S.E (Power, agility, strength, Endurance) focusing on the body as a whole, rather then on individual parts. The workout consists of six movements, done in circuits for 40 minutes with no rest.
Apart from the time she spends in the gym Miss Kunis likes to be active outdoors, jet skiing in the summer and snow boarding in the winter. Although it would sound to most of us that she follows a fairly regimented fitness routine, Kunis claims to have quite a relaxed, non obsessive approach to her diet and figure compared to most other celebs.
Sticking to a diet of mainly low glycemic carbs (oatmeal, brown rice, sweet potatoes), protein (chicken breast, fish) and essential fats (omega 3’s like flax oil, fish oil) keeps Mila in great shape all year and she takes pride in her abilities to make healthy meals in the kitchen claiming she “can make anything out of leftovers.” An because she takes such a healthful approach to her diet and workout the majority of the time, she isn’t afraid to splurge on foods she likes on occasion, claiming that dark chocolate and wine are one of her regular indulgences.
“My glass of wine and I are besties.”
Overall it seems Mila is pretty balanced with her diet and workouts, knowing when she needs to be a little more disciplined and knowing when she can allow herself her to take a break. Balancing gym workouts with fun outdoor activities helps keep exercise interesting and energizing and Mila seems to be doing that successfully as she never fails to look beautiful when she steps on the red carpet.
So to sum up if you want to emulate Miss Mila you should be;
Working out 3 – 5 days a week doing circuit and strength training and then mixing it up with outdoor activities like running, hiking, and other sports.
Maintaining a clean diet made up of mainly low GI carbs, (quinoa, brown rice) lean proteins (beans, lentils, chicken) and healthy fats (avocado, coconut butter and Olive oil).
Allowing yourself a little of your favorite things in your diet, be it a glass of wine, or a piece of chocolate helps keep you on track and wont leave you feeling deprived, plus they are the things in life we love most, so allowing yourself your favorite things now and then help keep a healthy balance.
