Nike Soccer Cleats
When your main objective is to score goals, it’s important that the cleats that you wear are helping you out. Strikers spend their games on the ball, dribbling, attempting, and scoring goals, so the right pair of cleats should be tailored to that skill set.
The Nike Mercurial is lightweight and uses an ultra-thin upper to keep your foot as close to the ball as possible. On the bottom of the cleat, a lightweight forefoot plate and angular studs combine with a stiff chassis to push you toward the goal.
The Nike Phantom Vision is built with a mesh sleeve that conforms around your foot, and a collar that wraps around your ankle. This cleat links your ankle and lower leg seamlessly, providing stability and support around your dribbling and shooting.
Nike Phantom Venom cleats feature blades along the instep of the shoe, creating spin to control where you want to send the ball, along with flywire cables and a flexible plate, giving you the traction and support you need.
Each of these cleats are worn by some of the most successful soccer players in the world and are very popular at every level of the game.
MIDFIELDERS & DEFENDERS
While some midfielders and defenders choose to wear the same cleats as strikers and scorers, they have cleats specific to their skillset, too. Midfielders carry, pass, and occasionally shoot the ball, and for defenders, getting good touch on the ball is a top priority. The Nike Tiempo is famous for its legendary touch. Built with premium calfskin leather and a molded diamond texture, this cleat is tailored for premium ball control. Plush lining hugs your foot for comfort on the interior, and modified studs on the bottom offer multidirectional traction.
Goalkeepers tend to align their cleat choices with midfielders and defenders as well, allowing them to move around with ease and kick the ball when they need to.
While cleats are very important to your game, shin guard are an essential piece of equipment to keep your legs safe. Nike Mercurial Shin Guards are built to stay in place while you play at full speed, offering durable protection from the outer shell.
Other gear like socks, compression shorts, braces and other equipment will take your game to the next level. Whether it’s protecting you or adding to your game, the right gear is essential to being the best player you can be.
