NordicTrack Treadmill Reviews

NordicTrack was established in Minnesota, a state with an average high temperature of just 55 degrees Fahrenheit. Naturally it’s somewhere you’d want to train inside, and exactly the sort of place you’d expect as the birthplace of one of the largest manufacturers of indoor fitness equipment. NordicTrack’s founder first designed and sold indoor cross-country ski machines, and in the ’80s NordicTrack expanded its roster to include treadmills, ellipticals, and other cardio trainers, growing into the top international fitness brand we know it as today. It is currently owned by ICON Health and Fitness, along with other world-leading at-home fitness brands such as ProForm, iFit, and FreeMotion.

NordicTrack’s 2020 treadmill series includes traditional treadmills and incline trainer treadmills. If you’re looking for their treadmill desks, you can still find these on Amazon and elsewhere online; we’ll talk you through them below too. In each series (except the treadmill desks) at least one of the models have touch screens and all of the models support the iFit Coach app. With the app, users can take advantage of unlimited workout program downloads including scenic interactive workouts built with Google Maps, customized training advice, and automated logging of your fitness stats.

Compare the range by browsing our NordicTrack comparison chart below which will give you more detailed descriptions of each treadmill line.

Traditional NordicTrack Treadmills

When browsing the 2020 NordicTrack product line, we see three different levels of machines—the entry-level T Series, the higher spec Commercial Series and then the Commercial Incline Treadmill Series. All these lines offer great machines that can accommodate a wide range of fitness goals and exercise styles including walking and running.

By bumping up to the Commercial Series from the T Series, you’ll benefit from several additional features, including:

  • Extra wide tracks, which give you plenty of room to run comfortably
  • Advanced cushioning systems for superior joint protection and comfort
  • Sturdy and more durable construction, ensuring that you feel stable at all times
  • Smooth and quiet operation
  • Steeper inclines which can provide even greater sculpting benefits and better simulate hill running outdoors if you prefer training in that way

Regardless of which of these lines you choose, the following features are also available:

  • Foldable capabilities, so that you can neatly tuck your treadmill away when not in use to save space.
  • Continuous-duty horsepower motors that range from 2.6 on the T 6.5 Si model to 4.25 on the Commercial 2950. The T 6.5 Si is an ideal treadmill for walking and jogging but it doesn’t perform as well for more serious running. For running, any other model in their line should serve you well.
  • The top level T Series treadmill offers a power incline that goes all the way from zero to 12%, giving you the ability to crank up the intensity of your workout sessions whenever you please. If you opt for a Commercial Series treadmill you’ll get a power incline and decline setting from -3 to 15%, giving you an even greater range.
  • If you want apps, the NordicTrack range won’t disappoint. The treadmills come with many built-in applications including iFit which gives users access to a vast array of workout programs and personalized coaching to help kickstart your fitness journey or recharge your current exercise routine.
  • All the treadmills contain responsive cushioning to give your joints better impact protection.
  • As NordicTrack continues to update these models, their HD touch screens are increasing in size—currently the smallest screen available is 10 inches, as seen on the T 6.5 Si. The top spec Commercial 2950 has a 22-inch screen.
  • Regarding the warranty, NordicTrack offers up to 10 years on the frame, 2 years on parts and 1 year on labor depending on the machine.

The C Series is slowly being phased out by NordicTrack; a line that includes the C590, C700, C990, C1070, and C1650 models. That said, most of these models are still available for purchase at significantly discounted prices on Amazon. Though not as high tech as NordicTrack’s latest and greatest models, these treadmills still offer good build quality and are capable of running iFit training programs.

Incline Trainer Treadmills

When you decide to train on an incline, your calorie burn increases dramatically. A severe incline is a great way to increase fat burn and optimize weight loss—especially for those who are unable or unwilling to get into running. This is precisely what made the NordicTrack Incline Trainers so popular in the first place. Think of these incline trainers as a hybrid between a stepper and a treadmill, providing you the benefits of both platforms depending on its settings during your workout.

In addition to their ability to use such a steep incline (as well as a decline of up to -6%), NordicTrack Incline Trainers also offer:

  • Continuous-duty horsepower ratings ranging from 3.75 to 4.25
  • iFit Coach interactive training sessions along with up to 50 pre-programmed workouts
  • iFit Google Maps workouts which allow you to plot your cardio routes on real streets and different terrains around the globe
  • Wireless heart rate monitoring via an iFit Bluetooth chest strap (included)
  • Warranty protection offering up to 10 years on the frame, 2 years on parts and 1 year on labor depending on the machine
  • High quality HD touch screens built into each console ranging from 10 inches on the X11i, up to 32 inches on the X32i

Desk Treadmills

Looking for a way to get active at work? If your workplace can accommodate it, you’ll want to check out the NordicTrack Desk Treadmill Series. This series gives you just what you need to walk while you work. You can expect a sturdy work surface that has been designed to accommodate all your computer needs along with a belt that’s extra cushioned and tested to ensure it can survive the 9-to-5 daily grind.

These machines can also provide you with the stats of your exercise session. This feature is built right into the desktop and can easily connect with iFit on your tablet so you can keep tabs on the data and monitor your progress. You’ll get a new personal training workout every single day along with workouts built in Google Maps to keep you entertained. There’s no question, NordicTrack treadmill desks can make your workday much more interesting. The desktop surface itself has a built-in USB charging port as well, which is perfect for keeping your devices fully charged.

You’ll have two different options to choose from, the Treadmill Desk and the Treadmill Desk Platinum. The Platinum model benefits from a longer track and higher top speed (8 mph instead of 6) and is also the only of the two models to have an incline feature (10%).

NordicTrack Desk Treadmills are easily foldable, allowing you to save significantly on floor space. What’s more, you can still get to the desk while it is folded, so you won’t have to worry about your work being out of reach.

In addition to this, you’ll also benefit from:

  • The same iFit integration as conventional NordicTrack treadmills
  • Quiet, self-cooling DurX Motor, ensuring your workout won’t disturb your colleagues
  • A highly cushioned deck to prevent joint strain after lengthy walking workouts

What We Like:

  • Motors: NordicTrack treadmills tend to have more powerful motors than others in their price categories. Most of the models updated for 2020 have commercial-grade motors with at least 3.0 continuous-duty horsepower (CHP). The entry-level model in the Commercial Series, for example, has 3.75 CHP.
  • Consoles: NordicTrack provides many extras to help motivate you to keep exercising. Their recent updates of treadmill consoles across their model range include luxuries such as high definition touch screens up to 32 inches wide, Bluetooth-enabled sound systems and iFit readiness. The consoles also have self-adjusting fans and water bottle holders.
  • Coaching: Although optional, NordicTrack allows you to use their products with iFit, a virtual gym membership you can enjoy in the comfort of your home or office. You can benefit from world-class training and access to a fitness community to optimize your workouts, alongside nutrition and sleep advice tailored for your individual needs.
  • Inclines: There’s a whole host of reasons why incline training has become so popular. It boosts metabolism, tones your leg muscles, works out your heart and much more. NordicTrack is leading the way with its innovative Incline Trainers, plus they’ve included automated ramps on treadmills in each of their series. Even the NordicTrack Platinum Desk Treadmill has a 10% incline.
  • Tracks: The Commercial Series treadmills have extra-wide tracks (22″ wide x 60″ long) made from especially high-quality material to promote quiet operation and minimize maintenance needs. These and the T Series treadmills also have off/on cushioning to let you simulate outdoor training or exercise with superior joint protection.
  • Warranties: This brand’s treadmill warranty includes up to 10 years of coverage on the frame, 2 years on parts and 1 year on labor depending on the machine.

What We Don’t Like:

  • Assembly: Customers generally don’t describe the assembly process as easy. Paying extra for professional set-up could be worth the extra cost.

Our Verdict:

NordicTrack has established an enviable reputation in the treadmill industry. We highly recommend treadmills from each of their series, from the simpler T Series models to the Incline Trainers, and our best treadmill pick, the Commercial 1750. The wide variety of price points, physical features and programming from NordicTrack means that most shoppers can find their perfect match.

Get this top-rated NordicTrack treadmill for an all-time-low price (Update: Expired)

Getting running (or walking) and enjoy on-demand classes, guided runs and more with the NordicTrack T 6.5 Si.

NordicTrack

January continues to be a great time to score health and fitness deals. The latest: Today only, and while supplies last, Amazon has the NordicTrack T 6.5 Si treadmill for $674.99, a 32% savings and the lowest price to date. Delivery is included, and you can add assembly for $72.65 — something to consider, given that reviewers estimate it can take anywhere from 1-2.5 hours.

The T 6.5 Si features a tread belt that’s 55 inches long and 22 inches wide and an incline motor that can raise the machine up to 10%. It has an electrocardiogram grip for collecting heart-rate data and a 10-inch color touchscreen.

The latter connects you to NordicTrack’s iFit service, which is included free for the first year. (After that it costs $40 per month, or $33 if you prepay annually.) iFit affords access to a huge library of on-demand classes, and in many of them the instructor actually controls the speed and incline of your machine — very cool.

However, I’ll note that I’m currently testing NordicTrack’s S15i indoor cycle, which also incorporates iFit, and I have some issues with it. While the classes themselves can be great, as can the guided outdoor runs and hikes, the iFit interface is a clunky mess, with no way to sort or search the available options.

Assuming you can live with that, or you just plan to point the treadmill at a TV and watch Netflix while you run, this seems like an especially good deal on a top-rated treadmill. CNET hasn’t reviewed this exact model, but the similar T 7.5 S made the list of CNET’s top treadmills for 2020. (That model, incidentally, is also on sale today: $750, down from $1,099.) Meanwhile, the T 6.5 Si earned a solid 4.3-star average from around 165 Amazon customers.

The UE Wonderboom portable wireless speaker returns to Black Friday pricing: Just $38

Originally priced at $100, the UE Wonderboom can be yours right now for just $38.

Sarah Tew/CNET

The UE Wonderboom is widely regarded as one of the best portable speakers, period. It’s compact, lightweight, dust-proof and water-resistant. It can play for up to 10 hours on a charge. And for a limited time, it’s back to a price I haven’t seen since Black Friday: Best Buy has the UE Wonderboom for $37.99. It lists for $100 and sells elsewhere for at least $50.

Although it’s been supplanted by the Wonderboom 2, which is slightly larger and supports stereo pairing, the OG Wonderboom does let you pair two speakers for bigger sound. You just won’t get true stereo.

Even so, this model is already “one of the better sounding micro Bluetooth speakers you’ll come across,” according to David Carnoy’s UE Wonderboom review. And let’s remember that evaluation was based on the $100 price tag.

At $38, this is definitely worth a look.

Two cast-iron cookware deals you shouldn’t miss

Ozark Trail

If you’re not cooking with cast iron, you’re missing out. The pans last pretty much forever. They can go on the stove or in the oven. They’re not treated with any kind of questionable coating (and in fact can develop a natural non-stick surface over time). Perhaps best of all, you don’t have to spend much to get some.

Looking for something a little fancier, perhaps with a lid? Today only, Amazon has Cuisinart cast-iron cookware for 46% off. That means you can get a 12-inch Chicken Fryer pan or 7-quart Oval Casserole for $69.99. Both are available in matte grey or matte snow-white, and both have overwhelmingly positive ratings.

No question, Cuisinart stuff tends to be way overpriced, but with this discount in place, these two pans are competitive. If you’ve had experience with these or the aforementioned Ozarks, hit the comments and let me know what you think!

This NordicTrack treadmill’s immersive display made everything but the cobblestone of Boston’s streets feel real — and it’s worth every penny of its $3,000 price tag

NordicTrack

  • A high-quality treadmill accommodates a broad range of speeds and inclines, adjusts quickly, offers plenty of workout programs, and keeps you coming back.
  • I like the NordicTrack Commercial 2950 Treadmill because it utilizes the iFit interactive trainer’s library of more than 1,500 workouts, folds easily to free up space, and has excellent speakers.
  • Though it’s much more expensive than other treadmills (currently $2,879 on Amazon), the price covers full assembly, a two-year warranty on labor, as well as a lifetime warranty on the drive motor and frame

I live in Michigan where for seven months a year, the weather is terrible for running. In the summer, when it’s supposed to be ideal, I often run as early in the day as possible to avoid heat and humidity. During its frigid winters, there’s no chance of logging miles outside, no matter how bundled up I get. Because of this, I typically hang up my running shoes for the season come October.

Then the NordicTrack Commercial 2950 Treadmill arrived in my home. Now, no matter the season or the weather, I can still go on an enjoyable run. From its near-endless supply of interactive workouts to the ability to create custom routes via Google Street View, the 2950 has so much to offer. I even find myself still drawn to it when it’s nice enough to run outside.

The treadmill also features impressive speed and incline ranges capable of adjusting in a matter of seconds, as well as a quality set of speakers. Though there are plenty of other at-home treadmills on the market, there’s a lot to the 2950 that sets it apart from the competition.

Specs

The 2950 comes standard with a heart rate chest monitor and a 1-year iFit Coach subscription, which features live interactive training with elite personal trainers. The training programs allow you to either do workouts in a studio, or you can opt for the trainers to take you on runs to beautiful spots throughout the world. After the 1-year iFit trial expires, expect a $180 per year cost for an individual plan and $396 per year for a family plan (up to 5 accounts).

The treadmill measures 79 inches long, 39.2 inches wide, and 66.9 inches high. You can, however, fold the running surface in order to reduce its footprint to 41.9 inches long, 39.2 inches wide, and 70.7 inches high. The tread belt is 22 inches wide by 60 inches long, which offered plenty of room for my six-foot-tall frame and less-than-perfect running stride.

The arms on either side of the treadmill are roughly 15.5 inches long, and there are trays on either side of the console that easily fit my 1-liter water bottle. There’s also another tray beneath the display that offers plenty of room for towels, a smartphone, or other sundries. The weight capacity is 300 pounds.

The 2950 features a 4.25 continuous-duty horsepower (CHP) DurX Commercial Plus Motor, which is designed to reduce noise and avoid overheating. It also adjusts for declines of up to 3% and inclines up to 15%, and features a top speed of up to 12 miles per hour.

The frame and drive motor are each backed by lifetime warranties, while its parts carry a 5-year warranty and assembly labor a two-year warranty.

Set-up Process

Amazon buyers get a bit of extra incentive when purchasing the NordicTrack treadmill as the price includes free delivery and assembly. The 2950 comes in a box that weighs well over 300 pounds, meaning this isn’t a DIY type of project. Three men carried the box up my double L-shaped staircase before assembling the treadmill in a little over an hour. They also hauled all the packaging away.

From there, I connected the unit to the internet, which turned out to be an easy process. Next, I spent 20 minutes updating the software to the latest firmware; registration took another 15. But within an hour of the delivery crew finishing the assembly, I was hiking through a digital version of the Swiss Alps.

NordicTrack

A Versatile Treadmill

The treadmill sits in my office, which isn’t the most spacious area of my home. Fortunately, the hydraulic system makes folding the treadmill so effortless, I’m able to do it with just one hand. This frees up plenty of room and avoids turning my office into being only a treadmill room.

In the three months I’ve used the NordicTrack Commercial 2950, I’ve logged more than 175 miles of running. One of its highlights is its versatility of workouts. Not only are you able to either choose a workout video where you run with an instructor but it also lets you create custom courses via Google Street View. I’ve even been able to use this as a way to get familiar with a new town I might travel to for work. I appreciate that the incline adjusts to accurately match the topography where I’m running.

I usually listen to audiobooks while running, and I like that my phone connects to the treadmill seamlessly over Bluetooth. And, the speakers are loud enough to be heard over the fan and the thudding of my feet. When I choose to tune into the trainer, I appreciate how positive they always are. They do a good job of pushing me to keep going.

Running the Boston Marathon

My favorite workout program is the Boston Marathon Series with Ashley Paulson. This consists of five videos that take you through the entire Boston Marathon course at a pace of about 10 minutes per mile. Ashley tells you a bit about the race as you go, chats with fellow runners, and helps keep a positive vibe along the way.

Since I’m just a run-for-fun runner, I invited my friend, Ted Westbrook, a competitive distance runner, to give the treadmill a go for himself. He admitted it was among the best he’s used. One aspect that particularly impressed him was how quickly the speed adjusts. After starting at a pace of 7 mph, he upped it to 12 mph and the treadmill adjusted to the new speed in under 8 seconds. As a frequent Boston Marathon finisher, Ted appreciated the machine’s ability to adjust the incline to match the course — a feature that would be a useful training tool since the marathon starts with several declines.

Sweat it Out

I sweat — a lot. I’m usually pouring sweat within the first mile of a run and since I typically run roughly four miles each workout, this leaves the machine covered in perspiration. I do make a point of wiping it down after each run, but some areas are hard to get dry, such as the tray under the console. The vertical uprights even appear to have permanent streak marks from my sweat.

The user manual does recommend regularly cleaning it with a damp cloth and some mild soap, which has helped a bit. If you sweat as much as I do, you may want to consider giving it a wipe down after each use.

Minor Drawbacks

Though the treadmill’s 22-inch touchscreen display is a nice feature, the fact it’s unable to function as a computer monitor to stream media is unfortunate. I sometimes enjoy getting a few steps in while catching up on TV shows or watching a sporting event and was only able to do this by using my laptop and positioning it just right on the unit. Being able to do this on the screen provided would be much more convenient.

Another drawback was how the treadmill seemed to rock a bit after it was first assembled. This could’ve been due to the uneven hardwood floors of my old house but to fix it, I placed a Square36 Exercise Mat under it. This not only stopped the rocking but also protected my floors from the treadmill — and my buckets of sweat.

The Bottom Line

Though I had a few nitpicks, none were significant enough to steer me away from wanting to constantly use the NordicTrack Commercial 2950 Treadmill when I wanted to go for a run. But, at $3,000, is it worth it?

Should you buy it?

If you have the money, then yes. With a sizable track, strong motor, large touchscreen display, and impressive workout programs, the NordicTrack Commercial 2950 is a versatile and full-featured at-home treadmill. This is a particularly good investment for your health if you live in an area where the weather makes it difficult to routinely exercise outside or suitable gyms are inconvenient and expensive.

However, $3,000 may well be out of most runners’ budget. Fortunately, there are some ways you can save if you’re willing to give up a few of its features. Though the 2950 is the top-of-the-line model in NordicTrack’s Commercial Series of treadmills, there are two other models which cost significantly less: The 2450 and the 1750.

What model should you get?

The 2450 currently costs $2,299 on Amazon, but expert assembly costs an additional $112.97. It has less power than the 2950 with its 4-CHP motor, as well as a smaller screen (14 inches as opposed to 22 inches). Other than that, all its major specs are virtually identical: It has the same size track, along with the same speed and incline options. It also comes with a one-year iFit membership.

The 1750 is $1,799 right now on Amazon and includes free expert assembly, making it the cheapest option of the three. The major differences from the 2950 are its weaker (but still quite powerful) 3.75-CHP motor, its smaller 10-inch touchscreen, and the fact it only inclines to 12 percent. All other major specs are the same.

What are your alternatives?

If none of the NordicTrack Commercial Series treadmills appeal to you, we encourage you to check out our guide to the best treadmills. Perhaps you’re on a budget and want to consider the Horizon Fitness treadmill that only costs $600, or maybe you prefer a race-specific model like ProForm Pro’s 2000.

If you have the money, however, I strongly recommend considering the NordicTrack Commercial 2950 Treadmill. It offers an enjoyable and convenient way to boost your cardio health when the weather outside is poor. If you’re like me, you might even prefer to still run on it when it’s nice. It’s that good.

Pros: Comes with a chest heart rate monitor and a one-year iFit membership, adjusts to speeds up to 12 mph quickly, features an incline range of -3 to 15%, comes with a lifetime warranty on frame and motor, free expert assembly

Cons: Screen is limited to workout functions and programs and can’t stream personal media, requires frequent cleaning if you sweat a lot

Factory-Direct Treadmill Sales Are Best (Usually)

Shopping direct from the manufacturer means you will likely get the best prices, as there is no middleman adding to the expenses. Choose a treadmill brand’s website, for instance, Bowflex, Life Fitness and Nordictrack.

How to Compare Cyber Monday Treadmill Sales

When choosing a treadmill, make sure to look at the complete offer before purchasing. A low sale price shouldn’t be your only deciding factor; check out the treadmill delivery terms, warranties and satisfaction guarantees. We’ve gathered a few tips below to help with your pros and cons.

About Cyber Monday Treadmill Delivery

Many brands deliver/ship their treadmills for free, year round. Well-known brands such as ProForm and Sole Fitness can afford to do so because they have the volume that allows them to get special bulk rates on shipping to the continental US. However, that means places like AK, HI and PR don’t enjoy that privilege.

On the other hand, resellers (retailers, smaller shops) who don’t necessarily focus on big-ticket items may charge customers for shipping. As well, those who offer free delivery may only deliver to a regional pick up location, which means you will have to figure out how to get the treadmill to your home from there.

About Treadmill Warranties

Always review the warranty – a warranty can tell you a lot about a company and if it stands behind its product. Regardless of how low the price of a machine is, its best to know where you stand in case of any issues. The range of warranty terms is wide and differs from brand to brand. Proform and Nordictrack, who carry a wide variety of selections, offer warranties from one to six years. While Sole Fitness, offers free in-home labor and three years of parts. Lower priced treadmills that are even further reduced on Cyber Monday may be a steal but make sure you can live with the limited warranty.

Check out our treadmill comparison charts — it’s a solid view of what to expect on warranties when Cyber Monday shopping.

About Satisfaction Guarantees

Well-known and quality brand manufacturers promote satisfaction guarantees while resellers may state final sale. It is up to you the informed consumer to choose what is best for you. Most manufactures give a 30-day trial period that begins once your treadmill is delivered. Bowflex, on the other hand, has a more lenient policy allowing for a six-week money back guarantee.

Ready to commit to a healthier lifestyle, or know somebody who is? A brisk jog may be the way to do it. Just a short 5-to-10-minute jog has been shown to dramatically decrease your risk of death from cardiovascular disease and other causes, studies show.

While you might associate Black Friday and Cyber Monday with great deals on things that have little to do with fitness, we’ve found that this time of year is a great time to purchase home gym equipment such as treadmills and ellipticals, and especially treadmills. We rounded up some of the best deals right here that we’ve seen so far, many of which are still available as we move into the weekend. Be sure to also check out our list of the best elliptical deals as well, as well as the best Cyber Monday fitness deals too: all of our deals roundups will be updated continuously throughout the weekend.

Treadmill deals going on right now

We’ve spotted a few great deals on treadmills at Amazon, Walmart, and even Best Buy this week. While they aren’t the crazy doorbusters like you see for TVs and smartwatches and so on, they’re still pretty good deals in our opinion. We’re constantly monitoring the sites for new deals and we’ll add them to the list below throughout the week.

One word of note: For the major fitness brands, buying direct will be your best bet (and likely your best deal with the special add-ons some are offering on select models. The deals at other non-fitness centric retailers, while good, will be targeted more to a general consumer versus the fitness enthusiast. Regardless, below are the best deals we’ve spotted so far.

Bowflex isn’t exactly known for its treadmills, but it does have two models that are solid options for home gyms. Both the BXT116 and BXT216 models are capable of up to a 15% incline and a top speed of 12 mph. An included chest strap monitors your heart rate (you can use the handle sensors as well when walking), and a free two-month subscription to Bowflex’s JRNY guided workouts is included, which you access through your own smartphone and tablet.

The main difference between the two is that the BXT216 has a slightly higher horsepower motor (4 horsepower versus 3.75 hp with the BXT116), and the BXT216 features much better deck cushioning. While the BXT116 is good enough for most, avid runners will be better served by the BXT216 in our opinion. Be sure to enter the code “BF19” at checkout to get your promotional pricing.

  • Bowflex BXT116 Treadmill — $1,499 (save $100)
  • Bowflex BXT216 Treadmill — $1,799 (save $100)

NordicTrack

Unlike Bowflex, NordicTrack has far more options for treadmills as the company has been making treadmills for many years. The company has a significant number of commercial-grade models available, which are quite expensive and for most of us a bit of overkill. Its T Series treadmills are much more reasonable, starting at just $999. The base model T 6.5 Si has a 2.6-hp motor and a 10% top incline and 10 mph top speed. It also has a smaller width belt, less built-in workout programs (20), and doesn’t include a fan.

If you need these features or a wider belt, step up to any of the higher-end models. All three models include a one-year membership to the company’s iFit Interactive training app. They all also include functionality that allows iFit trainers to control the belt speed. For those looking to save a little money over Bowflex, NordicTrack is a good choice.

The ability to exercise on an incline will drastically increase the effectiveness of your workout. It’s basically the same thing as exercising on hills outside. Having a treadmill in your home is a great option if there really aren’t any hills for you to use nearby. Going outside to exercise lets you get plenty of fresh air while staying fit. You can even keep track of the distance that you’ve gone, so you could make a goal to run two or three miles. Some of the best running treadmills will also give you the ability to monitor your heart rate while you’re working out. You don’t want to overexert yourself and have a heart attack, so you should definitely want to keep your eye on it. Treadmills with a wireless heart rate monitoring system are even more beneficial since you don’t have to keep your hands on the sensors. You will also find that running on concrete or asphalt can be quite uncomfortable, even if you have high-quality shoes on. Over time, you may even develop problems with your joints. The best treadmill will be equipped with a modern deck designed to cushion the impact on your joints, so you don’t develop any long-term problems. As you can see, there are plenty of benefits of using the best treadmills. You won’t find many better ways to get the exercise you need to stay in shape. Thanks to a treadmill, you will also get the exercise anytime you want, even if it’s raining or snowing outside.
