Selena Gomez Height and Weight
The size of the adult is determined by many factors, the most important being genetics. If you were born into a family with genes for tallness then you are very likely to become great and vice versa.
Selena Gomez is currently 165 cm (5ft 5in) tall, which, according to the American standard, is classified as short. Since she has Italian and Mexican ancestors, it would be unfair to judge her by the standard of other Americans of different ethnic backgrounds. Despite this height, the young lady blends in well with American society because many other celebrities are only this tall.
Weight, on the other hand, is determined primarily by environmental factors. Genetics plays only a minor role. Currently, Conchita (Selena’s other nickname) weighs a meager 130 pounds (59 kg). It seems that the actress is doing very well.
Since she started appearing on screen, Gomez has always been beautiful and sexy because she has managed to maintain her weight inside the healthy beach. Her body mass index, which is the best measure of her physical condition, indicates that she is extremely fit and healthy.

Selena Gomez Body Measurements
Beauty is healthy, it’s not just about height and weight. Size, body shape, and measurements are important determinants of a woman’s beauty. Selena boasts a banana body shape and thin construction. These elements combine to give it an irresistible silhouette. Her figure measurements are 36-28-35 inches or 91.5-71-89 cm.
As Selena is 23 years old, there is a good chance that she will still have two or three years to grow up. Maybe the measures will change a little bit over time. The other important measure is the size of the bra. Breast size plays a very important role in determining a woman’s beauty. Selena Gomez’s bra size is 34B.
Selena’s bra size, like other measures of her body, is likely to change over time, most likely when babies start to come if she plans to have them in the future.

How Tall Is Selena Gomez?
In the span of just a few short years, Selena Gomez has risen to extraordinary heights as an actress and musical performer. Born in 1992, Selena’s introduction to show business came when she was cast on TV’s Barney & Friends in 2002. Later, Gomez landed the lead role of Alex Russo on the Disney Channel’s Wizards of Waverly Place. She also was given the opportunity to record the show’s theme song.
Selena’s star continued to rise while under contract to Disney. She signed a recording deal with Hollywood records and participated in several TV and music side projects while still starring on her popular show. During the show’s four-year run, Gomez released three albums with her band Selena Gomez & the Scene, launched her own fashion line as well as her own fragrance. Not a bad list of accomplishments for someone still in her teens.
A Very Public Romance
In 2011, Selena Gomez began a 3-year relationship with pop megastar Justin Bieber. The teen idol couple attracted the attention of the media and the ceaseless gaze of the paparazzi. Speculation and debate surrounding Bieber’s height arose as a result. Long claiming to be 5’9″ tall, Justin was pictured alongside Selena, who measures 5’5,” appearing to be roughly the same height or maybe 1 inch taller.
Life After Wizards
After Wizards of Waverly Place ended its successful run, Gomez returned to the recording studio preparing her first solo album, Stars Dance, with a tour that would follow. The album and tour met with limited commercial and critical success, as did many of her acting roles during this period.
A Career Resurgence
Last year, Selena released her second solo album, entitled Revival, along with the single Good For You that reached the top five on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. The album was equally successful, debuting at number one. Later in the year, Gomez also made an appearance in the critically acclaimed film The Big Short.
At age 24, her career appears to be experiencing an upswing. She has embarked upon a worldwide live tour in support of her latest album. The tour puts her in front of increasingly large audiences. The pressure is on her as she takes center stage to command the attention of an audience numbering in the tens of thousands.
Although her height is within the average range for American women, her 5’5″ frame could potentially present some challenges for her to remain the focal point on stage, especially if several taller dancers and musicians surround her.
This is a professional instance where the use of height insoles could be quite beneficial. Inserting heel lifts like Add Height into her shoes would make her stand taller without sacrificing comfort or stability for all of the dancing she does during her performance.

Selena Gomez’s Instagram Hacked With Nude Photos of Justin Bieber
UPDATE: It appears Gomez’ Instagram has now been fully restored.
Selena Gomez’s Instagram was deactivated Monday morning after nude photos of her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber were posted to the account.
The photos were the same images published after Bieber’s 2015 Bora Bora trip, according to multiple users who screen-grabbed the posts, and appears to be the work of a hacker. Billboard has reached out to Gomez’s reps for comment.
Gomez was previously the most-followed user on Instagram, second only to the official Instagram account with 125 million followers, according to a March 2017 ranking by Socialblade.
Fans and members of Gomez’s team took to Twitter with updates on the situation:

Justin Bieber’s 15 Best Songs
With over 125 million followers, Selena Gomez has good reason to be worried about Instagram hackers. The former Disney Channel star is the most followed celebrity on the social media platform — and following a recent breach in security, she is preparing for more private photos to leak.
After nude photos of Justin Bieber were posted on her personal page by the hackers earlier this week, Instagram, which is owned by Facebook, reached out to Selena to warn her about the cyber attack. According to The Sun, the tech company confirmed that the hackers were able to access stars’ email addresses and phone numbers as result of a bug in their system.
“Many of the biggest celebrities in the world will be very concerned about this,” a source told the U.K. publication. “Many use Instagram for chatting privately and swapping pics with friends. A lot will be hastily deleting things to stop anything embarrassing getting out in the hope that it’s not too late.”
While Selena has been warned to change her password, she is quickly bracing herself for the release of more private photos. The hackers who just targeted her account shared nude photos from her ex Justin’s 2015 vacation in Bora Bora, captioning the images, “LOOK AT THIS N—A LIL SHRIMPY.” However, they were quickly taken down by Selena’s team.
The “Hands to Myself” singer has been very open about her love/hate relationship with social media. She has even admitted to deleting the app from her phone and not knowing the password to her own account.
“As soon as I became the most followed person on Instagram, I sort of freaked out,” Selena told Vogue. “It had become so consuming to me. It’s what I woke up to and went to sleep to. I was an addict, and it felt like I was seeing things I didn’t want to see, like it was putting things in my head that I didn’t want to care about. I always end up feeling like s–t when I look at Instagram. Which is why I’m kind of under the radar, ghosting it a bit.”

- Selena Gomez’s Instagram was shut down after nude photos of Justin Bieber were posted on her account in an apparent hack.
- The singer’s account was back online shortly after with the nude photos deleted.
- The photos of Bieber were the same uncensored ones published from his vacation in Bora Bora.
- Neither Gomez’s or Bieber’s reps have commented on the situation.
Selena Gomez’s Instagram was swiftly taken down on Monday after several nude photos of Justin Bieber were posted on her account.
Gomez was hacked, Variety has confirmed, but she has since re-secured her account. Variety has reached out to her rep for comment.
Gomez’s Instagram was back online minutes after it was taken down, with the nude photos deleted. The singer is the most-followed person on the social media platform, with 125 million followers.
The Bieber images were the same ones that were published after the pop star’s Bora Bora vacation in 2015. Gomez and Bieber used to be a couple, but are no longer together.
Bieber has said that the publication of the images, originally in the New York Daily News censored (though the uncensored versions later made the rounds online), made him feel “super violated.” “Like, I feel like I can’t step outside and feel like I can go outside naked,” he told Access Hollywood in 2015. “Like, you should feel comfortable in your own space … especially that far away.”
Gomez and Bieber have a long history together, dating back to when rumors first circulated of their romance in 2010. They confirmed their relationship in 2011, when they appeared at the Vanity Fair Oscars party together, but subsequently broke up. Their relationship had been on-again off-again ever since, though they haven’t publicly dated for at least the past year.
IT’S OUR TURN: How Selena Gomez’s crooked teeth changed my notion of celebrities
Though I like my fair share of singers, I’ve never been much of a concert-goer because I’m not a fan of large crowds. More specifically, I’m not a fan of standing for hours while smushed up against strangers drunkenly sloshing drinks around.
But if you know me, you’re well aware of my borderline obsession with Selena Gomez. It’s something I can’t explain. I don’t even know when it started. She’s always been larger than life to me, and I love her for staying grounded in an industry where so many have fallen.
So back in October, when I heard she would be performing in St. Paul on June 28, I snatched up floor seats as quickly as possible. Never mind the sure-to-be large crowd – to see her live, it was worth the minor discomfort.
As the week of the concert approached, I could barely contain my excitement. Then, four days before the concert, a friend from high school texted me and said she had won Meet and Greets to Selena’s concert. Of course, I was brimming with jealousy (maybe even a few tears). She told me that the radio station would be giving away another set of Meet and Greets that night. I quickly set an alarm and texted my sister Kate, who was going to the concert with me, to make sure she would be calling into the station at the same time.
As 7:20 p.m. rolled around, my sister and I both started frantically calling from multiple phones. She was in Buffalo, my hometown, and I was at my house in Leaf Valley. While I was calling the station, Kate tried numerous times to Facetime me, and I kept hanging up on her. Didn’t she know how hell-bent I was on winning these passes? Apparently not, because she called yet again. Finally, on her third call, I answered.
It turns out she had been calling because she had already won the Meet and Greets. At first I thought she was playing a cruel joke on me. Once I realized she was serious, I began simultaneously laughing, crying and screaming. I ran outside to tell my boyfriend, tripping over the dog, flinging myself onto Brandon, and inadvertently punching him in the face. That dimmed his excitement a little, but not mine.
From Friday night through Tuesday, the day of the concert, I was a blubbering mess of nerves. What was I going to say to Selena, this celebrity I had idolized for ages? How was I going to pose for a photo? What would I wear? What could I tell her that she hadn’t already heard?
Tuesday finally arrived, and embarrassingly, I acted more like a 12-year-old girl than I did when I was actually a 12-year-old girl. Shaking, squealing, tearing up – you name it, I was doing it.
Kate and I arrived at the Xcel Energy Center at the scheduled time. We ended up waiting for two hours before heading backstage, but it was worth every second. When we finally got to the room for Meet and Greets, my stomach flipped more than it ever had in my life. There were four black sheets hung up to create a room for the photos, and that’s when it truly hit me: She was in there. I could see her silhouette. This was happening. I was meeting Selena Gomez, and holy crap, I still had nothing to say.
Our turn approached, and I desperately begged the security guard to let me take an individual photo with Selena instead of a group photo with my sister (who I love, but come on, it was Selena). The guard must have sensed my desperation because he relented. I opened the curtain to the room, and there she was: The face I had watched and the voice I had heard in countless music videos, television shows and movies was looking at me, greeting me.
Shaking beyond control, with tears in my eyes, I approached her and she reached out for a hug while saying, “No, don’t cry! I feel like I scare people when they cry.”
At that point I looked at her, attempting to explain that I was crying happy tears. For whatever reason, one thing stood out to me: her front teeth were crooked, one situated more forward than the other – something that was never obvious in videos or photos.
I have no idea why that was what struck me in that moment, or why her crooked teeth were what I took away from the entire Meet and Greet. All I can figure is that to me, that made Selena a real person. She wasn’t this unreachable, intangible, celebrity anymore. She wasn’t the image of perfection, as I had expected. She had crooked teeth, just like me, and this imperfection somehow made me love her more.
After that realization, I calmed down sufficiently enough to take a photo and chat with her about the shirts I had designed for the show. Then it was my sister’s turn. I quickly gave Selena one more hug, thanked her about five times and begrudgingly stepped aside. I was grinning like a fool, with one thought running through my mind: “Crooked teeth.”
It’s been a little more than a week since meeting Selena, but my excitement hasn’t subsided. I don’t think it ever will. Something I never in a million years imagined happening to me actually happened. And in the process I realized that Selena isn’t just some image Hollywood has conjured up. She isn’t perfect, as I had previously thought – she’s better. Selena Gomez is a real, true person with a sweet soul and slightly crooked teeth.
Over the summer, Selena Gomez underwent a life-saving kidney transplant as a part of treatment for her Lupus diagnosis. The singer first revealed last month on Instagram that she underwent the procedure, and spotlighted her friend and fellow actress Francia Raisa, who donated a kidney to her.
In a new sit-down interview with Savannah Guthrie on the Today Show, the pair publicly open up about their medical experience for the first time together. Here are some of the most revealing parts of their discussion.
Selena was suffering from kidney failure, arthritis and other serious symptoms from Lupus before the surgery.
“I had arthritis, my kidneys were shutting down, my mentality was just to keep going,” Gomez said. “I didn’t realize how much of it was affecting my body.”
Raisa, who was living with Gomez at the time, found out about the state of Selena’s health when she was too weak to open a water bottle. That’s when she immediately volunteered to get tested to donate.
“One day she came home and she was emotional,” Raisa said. “I hadn’t asked anything, I knew that she hadn’t been feeling well. She couldn’t open a water bottle one day. She chucked it and just started crying and I said, ‘What’s wrong?’ And that’s when she told me. And she goes, ‘I don’t know what to do, the list is seven to ten years long. And it just vomited out of me, I was like, ‘Of course I’ll get tested.’
Gomez first told Raisa—who’s starring in Yara Shahidi’s upcoming show, Grown-ish—that there was too much going on in her life for her to be a kidney donor, but she insisted to help out. “I called her assistant and I said, ‘Give me the information. I want to do this,'” Raisa added.

Some of Selena’s family members even got tested to donate, but they weren’t a match. Francia was.
“She lived with me in this interesting time where my kidneys were just done,” Gomez said. “That was it. And I didn’t want to ask a single person in my life. The thought of asking somebody to do that was really difficult for me. She volunteered, and did it, and let alone somebody wanting to volunteer, it is incredibly difficult to find a match. The fact that she was a match, I mean, that’s unbelievable. That’s not real.”
Raisa recalled she “did everything in, like, a day,” even though the process usually takes six months, because her and Selena’s situation was an “emergency situation.” The prep included getting her blood and urine tested and going through physical and psychological examinations.
They prepped with a lot of food the night before.
“I wanted us to feel good,” Selena explained. A friend came over and french braided their hair. Since they had to fast starting midnight before the surgery, they “stuffed our faces” the night before. “I think I ordered way too much food,” Gomez said laughing.
Raisa even had to write a will before donating a kidney.
Her procedure came first that day. “When I woke up, I just was really calm,” Raisa recalled. But she had to take extra precautions incase the surgery was unsuccessful. “I had to write a will, which is scary because there’s no guarantee you’ll wake up.”
Her family was also uneasy about her decision to be a donor. “When you told your mom, she was like, ‘What are you doing?'” Gomez said. “My mom didn’t want to be there until I woke up,” Raisa added. “She loves Selena and so she was torn.”
Francia and Selena saw each other before undergoing their respective surgeries.
“She came in and held my hand, and she was like, ‘Are you good?’ I was like, ‘Yeah. We’re doing this,’ Raisa said. The actresss got valium to calm down, but she doesn’t remember what came after that. Selena reminded her that she did a quick peace sign before going unconscious.
Gomez “felt good” when she woke up from the surgery, but then experienced complications in the recovery room.
“I remember waking up two hours after , I saw my mom, I saw my stepdad, and I felt okay. I felt really good. I got to see you and tell you I love you. And then I went back to my room and I started to attempt to fall asleep, and in the middle of that process I started hyperventilating and there was so much pain there,” Gomez said. The doctors told her she had to go in for another surgery. Her kidney was turning around.
“My teeth were grinding, I was freaking out. It was a six-hour surgery that they had to do on me and the normal kidney process is actually two hours,” she said. “Apparently one of the arteries had flipped. I’m very thankful that there are people who know what to do in this situation.”
The recovery process was “humbling” and “brutal.”
Gomez wanted her and Raisa to be together, so she got a space for them both to recover in. When they were on bedrest, they could only get out of bed and walk for an hour a day, and they weren’t allowed to take stairs.
“It was hard because you constantly had to ask for help,” Raisa said. “I think one of the most humbling experiences was needing help to, like, put on underwear. We couldn’t take showers by ourselves. It was a really brutal process.”

Now that Gomez has a new kidney, there’s only a three to five percent chance that her Lupus will come back.
Raisa saved her life, Gomez said. “I guess I got to the point where it was really kind of life or death,” she added. “It’s really hard to think about or even to swallow, especially now that as soon as I got the kidney transplant, my arthritis went away, my lupus is at a three to five percent that it’ll ever come back, my blood pressure, my energy, my life has been better.”
The pair hopes that their experience will inspire others.
“I just really hope that we can help somebody,” Gomez said tearfully. “I really do. I don’t think what we went through is easy. I don’t think it was fun. I hope that this inspires people to feel good, to know that there is really good people in the world.”
