Next in my series of reviews from Forever 21+’s UK 2018 swimwear collection is the Forever 21+ Walnut One-Piece Swimsuit.

I very much liked the look of the Forever 21+ Walnut One-Piece Swimsuit, so I was excited to try it. I ordered it in a 0X, which is labelled as a UK 18 but I would say it comes up more like a UK 14/16.

I absolutely loved the colour – it’s not a vibrant, bright, or jewel tone, but instead a really stylish and chic dark beige hue.

I also really liked the mesh panels and the cut-outs on the Forever 21+ Walnut One-Piece Swimsuit – they’re really different and unique. It’s not often you find plus size swimwear options like this so I applaud Forever 21 for having different swimsuits in their collection.

The back is also really interesting – the ties are eye-catching and allow for a flexible fit. They’re really comfortable and look great.

Butt coverage is really good on the Forever 21+ Walnut One-Piece Swimsuit. It’s not too high cut and it sits in just the right place.

So…I’ve been picking out all the good points of this swimsuit, and now it’s time to mention the issues. Well, the one issue. But it’s a pretty significant one…

Boob room. Or SERIOUS lack thereof. Yikes, the Forever 21+ Walnut One-Piece Swimsuit is almost hazardous for me to wear – I am literally a deep breath away from a significant wardrobe malfunction.

It’s such a shame – the sides of the swimsuit are simply cut too deeply so there isn’t sufficient coverage for my 34LL boobs. This would not be solved by sizing up as the issue is with the cut much more than with the size. This costume would work on someone of a much smaller cup size, and if that’s you I would recommend giving it a try as if it weren’t for the lack of boob room I would have seriously considered keeping this one.

The Forever 21+ Walnut One-Piece Swimsuit is an absolute bargain – it was £25 but it’s now just £12.99 so grab yourself a bargain and buy it here.

Forever 21 Wants You to Dress Like Chester Cheetah This Summer

America’s favorite cheese squiggles inspire new clothing line

Forever 21, the retailer that previously teamed up with Taco Bell for an array of Generation Z-baiting apparel, is now collaborating with Cheetos on a summer clothing line. Fans of the aggressively seasoned snack doodles can now head to Forever 21 stores to purchase a one-piece bathing suit, flip-flops, swim trunks, and two t-shirts emblazoned with Cheetos branding, including the grinning face of cool-dude jungle cat Chester Cheetah. “Cheetos is more than a snack brand; we’ve become a lifestyle brand among our fans,” Frito-Lay director of marketing Brandi Ray says in an announcement. “So what better way to embody that lifestyle than with a clothing line in partnership with Forever 21 – another brand with an incredibly passionate fan base similar to Cheetos.” The pieces in this snack-tastic collection are priced between $5 and $30.

While this is the first fashion collaboration between Cheetos and a major apparel company, the brand is no stranger to stunts aimed at the cool kids: Last fall, the chip manufacturer teamed up with LA superstar Roy Choi for a three-day Flamin’ Hot Cheetos pop-up in Hollywood. And now, fashionable junk food fanatics who clamored to buy the Colonel Sanders sweatshirts, Madewell Milk Bar shirts, and Uniqlo ramen tees can fill their wardrobes with a new type of Snackwave gear.

  • Miley Cyrus blatantly ripped off a DC-based baker’s photo of a cake with the inscription “abortion is healthcare” on Instagram. “I was shocked,” baker Becca Rea-Holloway tells the Washingtonian. “You can tell it’s mine because it’s one of my early cakes — the ‘E’ kind of hangs off the side.” After people complained about the cake photo theft, Cyrus apologized to Rea-Holloway in the comments of her Instagram post, and gave her a photo credit along with a tag to her page.
  • A TikTok user has discovered an awful Starbucks “hack”: tricking employees into giving you a bigger-sized drink by lying about your order after it’s complete. The video explaining this trick has been viewed almost half a million times, but the people of Twitter are not pleased.
  • Midwestern supermarket chain Jewel-Osco has stopped selling milk from boutique dairy company Fairlife after an animal welfare group released a video showing how the company allegedly abuses calves at its farm.
  • A fellow named Jim Pappas is attempting to eat every cheesesteak in the tri-state area and document his findings on a blog called the Philadelphia Cheesesteak Adventure. During the first year of this conquest, he crushed 275 sandwiches.
  • Disney World is now offering a boozy cookie sandwich made with Dole Whip. This vodka-infused creation is called the “Frozcato Sugar Cookie Sandwich.”
  • And finally, here’s a clip of Dark Phoenix star Sophie Turner and Conan O’Brien playing an absurd drinking game called “tequila slaps”:

Memorial Day is just a of couple days away, and Forever 21 is kicking off the unofficial countdown to summer with the launch of yet another ’90s-nostalgic capsule collection. The Forever 21 x Speedo collection combines plenty of current trends foretasted to go viral this summer, with an overarching retro influence that seems to pay homage to “Baywatch.” There are mesh minis, neon colorways, plenty of PVC, holographic bike shorts, cropped logo tees and hoodies and high-cut one-pieces with cheeky cuts. C.J. Parker would’ve definitely approved of this capsule, and we’re pretty excited about it too.

Over the last couple of months, F21 has been launching what seems to be an ongoing series of capsule collections with a clear influence drawn from ’80s and ’90s fashion. Their last collab — the Forever 21 x Pepsi collection — was choc full of thowback tie-dye pieces and neon-imbued graphics reminiscent of the “Saved by The Bell” aesthetic. Prior to that launch, was their rather unexpected partnership with USPS — which was both surprisingly and unsurprisingly a wild success —even among Coca-Cola loyalists.

This latest launch borrows plenty of design tenets from Speedo’s all-American approach to straight-forward athletic-wear, but without including a pair of the brand’s flagship, package-hugging swimwear briefs. You know, the low-rise, “form-fitting” swim garments that were popular among men during the ’90s (sadly, my father included)? Instead, the collection gives off an overall Olympian-meets-Baywatch vibe, with pieces unapologetically emblazoned with Speedo’s signature logo, plenty of sporty elastic straps and buckle accents. Given the collection’s seamless merge of on-trend, Instagram-friendly details matched with a sweeping sense of vintage-charm, these pieces are likely to go quick. Here are a few standout pieces (in our opinion, of course) that we’ve already added to cart.
